Church of the Seven Faiths

Allitur
Allitur teaches respect and understanding for laws, rituals, and other cultural traditions.

Clerics of Allitur act as judges and arbiters in disputes, as messengers, as legal advisers, and as scribes.
They're enactors of punishment for criminals, oathbreakers, and violators of taboos, so they have a
martial aspect as well.

Their roles often carry them far into hostile lands.

Joramy
Joramy is the goddess of Fire, Volcanoes, Wrath, Anger, and Quarrels. Her symbol is a volcano.

Joramy gets along with non-evil gods who aren't afraid to be aggressive, but cares little for such
emotionally distant deities as Delleb and Rao. Her disdain for such beings extends even to Zodal, her
estranged lover. Joramy is a slightly subservient ally of Pelor who values her willingness to go to lengths
he would not in the fight against evil. She is also allied with Kurell, who shares her reactionary,
emotional nature.

Joramy hates Erythnul and her church has a "kill on sight" policy concerning his clerics and worshipers.
The exact cause of her enmity is unclear, except that it is centered on Erythnul's jealousy of the Fire
Goddess. Joramy is also an enemy of Beltar. This is due to several instances of Beltar's followers in the
Hellfurnaces making sacrifices of Joramy's followers. This is likely to lead to all out war between the two
factions, presently.

Kord
Kord is the Suel god of Athletics, Sports, Brawling, Strength, and Courage. His symbol is an eight-pointed
star composed of spears and maces.

Kord's followers are urged to scorn cowardice, and taught that the strong and fit should rule the weak.
To Kord's faithful, a leader's best quality is bravery. Kord loves physical contests, and this inspires many
barbarian tribes to use nonlethal sports as a method for resolving disputes. Because battle claims the
weak and cowardly alike, there is nothing to lose by seeking battle; indeed, battle determines who is
most worthy of life, and ensures a place at Kord's side after death. Those who flee from battle are often
publicly excommunicated.

Phaulkon
Phaulkon is the Suel god of Air, Wind, Clouds, Birds, and Archery. His symbol is winged human
silhouette.

The favored weapons of Phaulkon's clerics are longbows and shortbows. His priests protect the nests of
flying animals, study the clouds and sky for portents, and teach hunting and archery to the common
man. They also train soldiers in ranged combat. The priesthood seeks to destroy evil artifacts, or to
prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. To this end, they often work with other priests of allied
faiths, such as Jascar, Aerdrie Faenya, or Murlynd. Phaulkian priests tend to be wanderers, and enjoy
dwelling under the open sky.

Fortubo
Fortubo is the god of Stone, Metals, Mountains, and Guardianship. Originally a member of the Suel
pantheon, Fortubo abandoned the Suloise upon discovering that the Suel were behind the creation of
the derro. Fortubo now favors dwarves above any other race, and has relatively few human worshipers.
Fortubo's holy symbol is a warhammer with a glowing head, though any hammer will serve.

Seventy-five percent of Fortubo's priests are dwarven, 20% are human, and another 5% are lawful good
gnomes. The priesthood welcomes both male and female priests, especially married couples. The
children of married pairs of Fortuban priests are said to be blessed with exceptional endurance and
insight. The priests of Fortubo focus chiefly on the protection of dwarven communities. They are intense
foes of orcs and goblins, as they feel these beings harm the earth with their pointless tunneling.

Norebo
Norebo is the Suel god of Luck, Gambling, and Risks. His symbol is a pair of eight-sided dice.

Priests of Norebo often work part-time as dealers and the like in their churches. Their favored weapon is
the dagger. They are known to make wagers on nearly anything, and enjoy taunting the followers of
such rigid deities as Pholtus, Saint Cuthbert, and Allitur.

Delleb
Delleb is the Oeridian god of Reason, Intellect, and Study. His symbol is a phoenix-feather quill, or an
open book.

Delleb's clerics (sometimes known as Tomesages) are devoted to learning and to using their knowledge
to help and teach others. They ask questions of bards and sages, pore over old books, help engineers
plan and invent, and travel in search of forgotten lore.
