OPENING PERFORMANCE SCRIPT

Scene 1

setting: Auditorium
actors: operators: Raymond, syafik, daryl
supervisor: kamil
props: 3 laptops, 3 screen, 3 mouse, 3 keyboards, long table and 3 chairs
music: super Mario bros, keyboards

On stage, a group of operators are sitting on chairs. In front of them are monitors of what appears to be
a running plant. A supervisor is seen pacing behind the operators.
The screen at the background displays one of the running units.

[synchronized/dancing scene]
{sounds of machinery/tapping that is to a beat is playing}

The operators movement are in sync with the music. Alarms are sounded randomly from different
operators and they are silenced by the operators actions

Suddenly, the screen turns fuzzy, disintegrates and powers down. At the same time, the music also stops.
The operator sits upright, and tries to click several buttons. Nothing happens. Supervisor rushes to his
monitor and tries something. Nothing changes.

Then a pop-up appears.

Hi (with the sound of Windows error pop-up)

Another pop-up appears.

Weve taken over your system

{intense music starts playing}

A third pop-up.

Soon all your systems will cease to function

Operator heard over the radio: Panelman call back! Whats happening?

A fourth pop-up

Comply to our demands or Im a psychopath (up to you guys)

Radio: Unit 3 is down. I repeat. The entire unit 3 is down!

Fifth pop-up

Radio: What do we do?

Supervisor slowly picks up the radio

NEWS Broadcast: A news reporter is at the center, with headlines below written HANDSOMEWARE
VIRUS NOW TAKES OVER GIANT PLANTS AROUND THE WORLD

News Anchor: We are now receiving several reports of HANDSOMEWARE VIRUS taking over a few
plants, right here in BINTULU. With me is Mr Sago, from Plant SamaLambat. Tell me, what is happening?

Sago: The computer virus is stronger than we anticipated. Our anti-virus software is only one update
behind yet our plant has become susceptible to these attacks.

News Anchor: And now I have heard that your last unit is down. How is your company handling the
situation?

Sago: We are doing our best to minimize the production loss from this attack. We cannot disclose the
information, however we would like to reach out to our stakeholders do not worry. We have everything
under our control.

Video pans out from tv screen showing the previous scenes news report. In the foreground we see a few
hackers wearing mysterious clothing, some working on their laptops, and some looking at the screen.
Appears to be someones house

Hacker 1: Ha-ha. Their mitigation plan is to give us the ransom. How much has company SAMALAMBAT
transferred the money to us already?

Internal
Hacker 2: 2.5 million. We have another 2 million coming up.

Hacker 1: Good, good. Theyre finally giving in to our demands hah. How about MLNG?

Hacker 2: Weve only hacked into one of their systems linked to one of their units. They still have three
other units capable of holding up the production!

Hacker 3: Im working on it! Their system is a bit complicated, their storage is everywhere, and some isnt
even linked! Not sure if theyve done their housekeeping YES. Their second unit will be down in just a
few minutes.

*Laughing* intensifies

Scene 4

MANAGER1: Edwin
MANAGER2: Faiz
SYSTEM ENGINEER: Lau
PM: Sholeh

This scene takes place in a board meeting room.

Manager #1: Plant Manager, just got a call from Operations. They just said another unit is down!

PM: Dangit! We only have 2 units left to sustain our plant before we lose production and eventually lose
clients! Why does this always happen to us!

SYSTEM ENGINEER: This is why we needed to comply with the Cybersecurity PTS141105

/winks at screen

Manager #2: Maybe we should just give in to the hackers demands

PM: No! We should not give in. Instrument Manager, do we have any other solution?

IM was on the phone, he puts the phone down.

IM: We might have a chance. Just got off the phone with an engineer who might be our sole savior (in
this case). He said he came up with a software he could upload into the system that integrates with the
latest cybersecurity requirements and could defeat the virus!

PM: Well what are you waiting for! Get him here!

IM: Hes on the next plane to Bintulu

PM: May we be safe (some LOTR style)

*zoom in to the radio* Light is beeping at one of the audio. Turns out their conversation is overheard

Scene changes to hackers room.

Hacker 1: They think they can stop us? Lets send our team to stop this guy!

Scene 5
setting: Airport
Engineer: Nicholas
3 Hackers Lackeys: sado,

Engineer arrives at Bintulu airport. He exits the immigration and goes down the escalator. He sees a
group of hooded men approaching. As he exits the building, he is surrounded and then

*FIGHTING SCENE* Engineer fend and knock off the lackeys one by one

*Car chasing scene*

Engineer arrives at MLNG. Run towards auditorium. Open auditorium door.

Scene 6

This is back in the auditorium

Engineer opens the main door *john cena theme song* and gives the token/anti-virus DISKETTE or
whatever to the ___________ (person who will be doing the opening ceremony). Everything is restored
and BITS gimmick prop lights on!
