years experience in the pet food industry. The improved formulas and
even more complete recipes are presented with smart, clearer new
graphics that emphasise the special features of each recipe, making it
easy to choose the right food for your four-legged friend.
All the formulas have been, improved by continuous feedback from
consumers, nutritionists and breeders, to offer an even more healthy
and wholesome product.
Xilo oligosaccharides, natural super-prebiotics resistant to salivary, gastric
and pancreatic enzymes, reach the intestine without being altered, limiting
energy wastage. XOS stimulates the synthesis of Short Chain Fatty Acids
(SCFA) in the colon that support the neutralisation of toxins, promote the
regeneration of epithelial cells and support the growth of intestinal villi, thus
increasing the area for the absorption of nutrients. It indirectly limits the
production of ammonia, indole and skatole, molecules responsible for odour
in faeces and also promotes immunity in the intestines and has an anti-
oxidant effect. With close to zero calories, XOS is also ideal for animals with
glycaemia and fat deposits.
