Additional Information

64-bit hardware, operating system, compiler, linker and JDK

are required:

Java applications require JDK 1.8 (64-bit).

 Linux applications require the 2.6 kernel and glibc 2.5 (or
later).

Windows applications require Visual Studio 2010 (VC10).

In order to use the RDMA transport type, you must obtain the
latest RDMA and OFED libraries from your hardware vendor.

When using rs_script.py (or any Python script) to administer a

secure Realm Server, you must ensure that an appropriate
version of Python is used. For Python 2, the version must be
Python 2.7.9 or later. For Python 3, the version must be Python
3.4.3 or later.

When administering a Realm Server that is not 'secure', Python

2.4 or later may be used.
