FUNCTION IDEAS & PACKAGES
Welcome to the Walkers Arms Hotel.
This newly rebuilt hotel, located just 3km from the heart of the city has finally “come to life” displaying
architectural design, contemporary furnishings, and a wonderfully happy atmosphere. With two premium
dining areas, a 14 metre long marble bar and 20 stunning eco sensitive accommodation suites, the hotel
is sure to please all tastes and styles. Here at the Walkers Arms we are looking forward to hosting your next
dinner, function (corporate or casual) even a romantic weekend away.
The venue has four different areas to accommodate you and your guests:
Buffet - Why not dine in our superb wonderful buffet for your next dinner function? With selections from
our four main buffet stations as well as a delightfully delectable dessert bar, none of your guests will
leave hungry.
The Huts - Situated in the courtyard area of the hotel, each hut can seat up to 15 people.
With individual iPod docking stations and Plasma screen in each hut, allowing you to control what
you watch and listen to.
The Sunken Lounge - Cosy and inviting, this area is ideal for cocktail function bookings of up to 30-40
people (minimum booking of 20 people ).
The Board Room - Ideal for business luncheons or a product launch. With a projector screen available for
any presentation. The room can seat 20 guests theatre style, or 12 in a boardroom set-up. Platters are
available to cater for all tastes.
To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to make a tentative booking as soon as possible; however,
we wish to mention that to secure this booking you need to meet the payment requirements for your
chosen function area. This should be made within fourteen days of your original booking. Please find
following our price schedules, beverage options and our terms and conditions which will explain in detail
your options. Final numbers and payment in full is required seven working days prior to your event.

BUFFET
The Walkers Arms is known for its fabulous buffet, that is why with our re-opening we were sure to create
a buffet/ dining area that was bigger and better than before. Complete with four main sections,
including a Salad & Antipasto selection, Asian selection, International selection, Carvery selection and
also a delicious Dessert selection, the Walkers Arms Buffet will no doubt please every diner. Big group
bookings can be made in the buffet, however they are subject to availability and determined by other
bookings within that area.* It should also be noted that booking a table in the buffet will not give you a
private area unless you are looking to book for at least 160 people. Deposits must be made of $5 per
head for any booking over 15 people.
*A minimum of six weeks’ notice is required for bookings over 50 people. Deposits need to be paid
within 14 days of making a tentative booking, to confirm all details.
SUNKEN LOUNGE
Cosy and elegant, the Sunken Lounge area provides the perfect spot for your next small cocktail
function. Situated in the heart of the Walkers Arms, this area can be sectioned off to ensure that you and
your guests can mingle and socialise amongst yourselves without losing the atmosphere of entire hotel.
Complete with the comforts of the open fire and elegant lounge settings, as well as private access to the
bar, the Sunken Lounge is sure to impress your guests.
Room Hire: $150 (minimum of 20 guests)
THE HUTS
Looking for something different? Then look no further than our individual Huts. In our spectacular new
venue we can offer guests a chance to host an intimate function which can seat up to 15 of your friends.
Our huts are available to be booked at any time, with a selection of cocktail food to choose from or even
our A La Carte menu which includes a selection of gourmet pizzas.
Each hut has its own private plasma and docking station, which you are able to
connect your iPod to display your personal photos or listen to your favourite music.
Heated in the winter and perfect on a warm summers night.

* Due to seasonal fluctuations in food costs and supply, menu prices and choices are subject to change.
We will endeavour to maintain agreed prices and choices where possible, however where change is
forced upon us, we will advise the client at the earliest possible time.
BEVERAGE OPTIONS
Here at the Walkers Arms we have a wide range of wines, local and international beers and spirits. For this
reason we feel that the best way for you to ensure that your guests can have the drink of their choice is
through the running of a bar tabs for the duration of your function. You can select as few or as many
different beverage options on your tab, and you can choose the time frame for it to run. Basically it is up
to you! Please feel free to speak to any of our function team and let us organise the drinks package that
suits your function.

I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions provided to me by the Walkers Arms Hotel
and will take full responsibility for my function being held on and will pay in full for
any damages made by myself or my guests. I understand that the Walkers Arms Hotel has an
obligation to enforce Responsible Service of Alcohol and staff has the right to refuse service to
guests we believe to be intoxicated. I also understand that the Walkers Arms have the right to
close down the function should problems persist.
