To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Vanessa Huber. I hired Vanessa as a kindergarten
teacher 5 years ago when I was the principal at Central Elementary in Nevada. Not only was she an excellent
teacher, but she also was an excellent leader. I am so pleased that she is entering elementary administration. We
need high quality and high caliber administrators such as Vanessa. I wish she would come to Texas where I am
now an elementary principal I would hire her to be my AP!

The first thing I learned about Vanessa is that she is an overachiever. She has an incredible work ethic and takes
on multiple tasks and completes them all well. I served on many committees with her. When there was work to
be done, Vanessa would step forward and do it. She also sought out leadership roles. Her work was of high
quality and I always looked forward to working with her.

Vanessa was a great team member. She could brainstorm and think outside the box with the best of them. She
was a keen problem solver and yet considerate of the totality of the situation. She facilitated meetings
successfully. She was ever cognizant of time and getting the job done in the most efficient manner possible. She
is a down to business kind of person who at the same time included everyone in the conversation.

Vanessas greatest strength was her ability to communicate. She kept parents and staff abreast of critical
information. In her role as Peer Advisor, our districts term to describe the person in charge of the programming
for teachers new to the profession and new to the district, Vanessa clearly organized our new teachers and
provided the professional development necessary for their success. She communicated in a manner that supported
them and made them feel at ease in our building. She provided a great segway to the Nevada culture.

Vanessa Huber loves kids and had great rapport with her students. I would see that passion continuing as she
moves into an administrative role. She would keep the focus on kids first within any elementary in which she
would work. She is also very knowledgeable about elementary curriculum and would be a great instructional
leader. She would coach her staff to be the very best instructionally that they could be. She would also place
before them innovation, and challenge them to strive to operate from a conceptual base with higher order
thinking. She would bring a new dimension to your instructional practice!

In closing, you couldnt be so lucky to have Vanessa work for you. She will excel with whatever she chooses to
do. I give her my highest recommendation. I would love to still be working with her and would love to be her
