Read the following text. Underline present simple and circle present

In port

It is a lovely autumn day, sunny with a fresh northerly wind. A car arrives at number
2 berth Gabriel Huidobro Quay at the Raos Dock complex in the port of Santander.

The door of the car opens and a man gets out. Captain Andrew James is back on
duty after his annual leave. He says goodbye to the company agent in the car and
starts to walk up the gangway to the MS Marina, a multi-purpose dry cargo vessel
of 12,000 DWT. She lies moored to the quay at berth No. 3 in the inner harbor.

All around him is the life and bustle of the port. Trucks and lorries and are rushing
back and forth, delivering goods in containers, crates and bales. Stevedores are
moving cargo in and out of the warehouses. Crane drivers are operating the
quayside cranes and ships derricks, which are lifting the heavy cargo, loading and
unloading. On board the deckhands are attaching slings, hooks and other lifting
devices to lift the cargo and store it into the holds and on deck. The deckhands
must also lash the cargo so that it will not shift during the voyage.

TRASLATE

Es un da de otoo precioso, soleado y con viento fresco del norte. Un coche llega
al muelle nmero 2 Gabriel Huidobro Quay en el complejo de Raos muelle en el
puerto de Santander.

La puerta de la cabina se abre y un hombre sale. Capitn Andrew James est de


vuelta en servicio despus de sus vacaciones anuales. Se despide al agente de la
compaa en el coche y empieza a caminar por la pasarela a la MS Marina, un
buque de carga seca multiproposito de 12.000 toneladas de peso bruto. La
motonave yace amarrado al muelle en el muelle nmero 3 en el interior del puerto.

A su alrededor es la vida y el ajetreo del puerto. Vehculos de carga y se precipitan


hacia atrs y adelante, la entrega de mercancas en contenedores, cajas y fardos.
Los estibadores de carga se mueven dentro y fuera de los almacenes. Los
operadores de gras estn operando las gras en muelle y en los buques torres
de perforacin, los cuales son el levantamiento de la carga pesada, carga y
descarga. A bordo de los marineros estn imponiendo eslingas, ganchos y otros
dispositivos de elevacin para levantar la carga y almacenarla en las bodegas y en
la cubierta. Los marineros tambin deben atacar la carga de manera que no se
desplace durante el viaje.
