Continuous quest to learn, determination to succeed are my biggest motivators.

The seed for this quest

was sown in my formative years. It all started with my childhood dining table conversations that were
about new innovations and solving unseen challenges with my doctor parents. For my passion of problem
solving, after my graduation from NIT Rourkela, I joined a sales and marketing consulting firm. I had many
such opportunities there to face new business problems every month and ace it with an impactful
solution. I then moved to Google to diversify my expertise and knowledge. Then, SPJIMR shaped my
business acumen and provided a lot of challenging learning opportunity from winning KPMG case
competition to leading career development cell. Both Google and SPJIMR has inculcated the deep rooted
habit of always doing the right thing in life which I believe is critical for long term success. With this diverse
and relevant experience, now I wish to take up roles across industries and emerge as an impactful and
socially sensitive leader.

New Idea - TAS

As an intern in an NGO, Vatsalya in Lucknow, I was working on a project about bringing improvements in
health services being provided in villages of Uttar Pradesh. While working for project, during my visits to
villages and NGO office, I observed many instances of operational inefficiency and underutilization of
digital platforms in functioning of NGO as an organization. I then convinced director of NGO to allow me
to implement some of the basic digital tools and build a system around it apart from my project work. I
introduced google forms to collect data for tracking and research. I trained 100+ field workers to use it. I
leveraged my skills learnt while working in ZS Associates and developed few VBA based automated excel
tools that could calculate various check metrics, flag bad performing villages and generate directives for
village workforce using data collected through google form. This helped increase efficiency of my project
team by 80% by significantly reducing data collection and data analysis time. It also helped the project
lead in monitoring remotely village workforces more effectively using timestamp recorded in google
forms. This initiative was highly appreciated in the NGO. It taught me that how such a small and easy
technology can drastically help such technologically challenged organizations.
