Job Description

Position Overview: (Including but not limited to)

1. Managing the overall the Fragrance India Operations, which includes Manufacturing, Supply chain, Quality, Logistics,
Inventory management and Customer Services processes.
2. Coordinate and collaborate with Local, regional and global operations, technical team, business stake holders and
commercial teams to achieve business objectives.
3. Manage the total operational expenses to ensure that they meet or perform better than the budget set targets.
4. Strive for overall excellence and continuous improvement in operations and team development.
5. Align and execute the long term Global Operations strategy for manufacturing and supply chain relevant to India
Fragrance Operation.
1. Manage the overall operations outputs to ensure optimum service levels, productivity, cost efficiency and quality.

Supply Chain
Ensure all supply chain practices and resources are in place to guarantee on-time delivery is and Customers expectations.
Manage supply chain for raw material and finished goods to optimize both service and inventory days/values.
Oversee the procurement of the equipment and raw materials to ensure that they meet with IFF quality and service
standard.
Manage the storage of the raw materials to ensure that quality and inventory management policies are followed.
Manage internal and external warehouse operation and logistical decisions and to ensure cost efficiency and
effectiveness.
Minimize SMOG and Aging inventory

Production
Continuously improve production and production supply process to optimize capacity.
Measure utilization, anticipate capacity issues and resolve on time.
Oversee and manage the safety and hygiene of the manufacturing plant to provide a safe and clean working
environment and to meet the CGMP and IFF safety standards (SERA).
Oversee proper Preventive Maintenance and other maintenance activities.

Quality
Oversee the QC process to ensure the consistency of the quality in both raw materials and finished goods.
Implement quality behavior in people
Oversee the whole FL production and warehouse process to ensure optimum quality and meet GMP, AIB and HACCP
standards.
Ensure full traceability for all Raw Materials and Finished Goods
Manage Customer Complaints, root cause analysis and implement preventive actions

2. Manufacturing Expense
Manage the expenses of the operations units to ensure that they meet or perform better against the budget set (LIP).
Continuously seek cost optimization, balancing throughput, inventory management and manufacturing expense
3. Operations Planning and execution
Set PMP goals for the staff of operations unit aligned with operational targets and plans
Identify and implement training and development needs to improve the skills, performance and occupational health and
safety of the employees.
Develop the Site Master plan (5 year outlook) for required capacity and budget requirements;
Annually prepare the Site Capital Budget; prepare Capital requests and manage capital projects.
Develop and execute site strategy the based on Operational targets and capital Budget.
4. Contribute to the development of the businesses with a strong collaboration with internal commercial team and external
customers.
Required Skills

Required Skills: (Including but not limited to)

1. Manage the overall supply chain operations outputs to ensure safe operation, optimum service levels, productivity, cost
efficiency and quality control.
2. Sound knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Budget Planning/Execution, and Process Innovation and Efficiency
improvement.
3. Ability to collaborate with creative, applications, quality, finance, commercial, Engineering & other support functions
within IFF.
4. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing business contingency planning and effective change management.
5. Strong Interpersonal & communication skills across all sector of organization.
6. Have a good team oriented leadership style.
7. Strong knowledge and implementation experience in CGMP/HACCP/Product safety/ISO certification.
8. Customer and Quality service oriented.

Required Experience

Experience Criteria:
1. Overall experience of 10-12 years (5 to 8 years Manager experience preferred)
2. Experience in managing a manufacturing plant and logistics operation
3. Preferred background experience in chemicals/ FMCG/ F&B
4. Prior experience in M&C or assignment abroad is a plus.

Background/Academic Qualification:
Bachelors Degree preferably in Chemical or Mechanical (B.E)
MBA (preferred)
Technical or quality certifications are a plus
