ApprovaloffeesforservicesrenderedbytheLMRAtocommercialandnoncommercialbusinesses,ministries
andgovernmentinstitutions,basedonaresolutionadoptedbytheCouncilofMinisters.Theapplicationofthe
newfeesstructureshalltakeeffectasof1stofJuly2008,asfollows:

ImportatNotice:
PleasesettleanyoverduePaymentsofthemonthlyfeesinordertoavoidthecancellationofallthework
permits.
Imposedafineoftwodinarsforeachmonthofdelayinthepaymentofthemonthlyfeeforaworkpermit
andamaximumof6dinars.

RefundofPayments:

TheLMRAwillrefundpaymentspaidbytheEmployerinthefollowingcases:

1.FullRefund:TheLMRAwillfullyrefundthepaymentspaidbytheEmployeriftheLMRAdecidedto
canceltheWorkpermitpriorthearrivaloftheforeignworkertotheKingdomwithoutprejudicetoother
obligationsimposedontheEmployer.
2.PartialRefund:TheLMRAwillrefundtheamountoftheremainingmonthsofthevalidityofWork
permitfromthevalueofthePermitintheeventwheretheexpatriateemployeeisbeingtransferredto
anotherEmployer,withtheexceptionofTemporaryWorkpermits.

ImportantNotice:

Refundedamountsarerefundedascreditintheestablishment'saccountatLMRA,andcanbeusedtopayother
application'sinvoicesandfeessuchasmonthlyinvoicesandNewPermitsfees.
Invoices:

TheLMRAwillissuethefollowinginvoicesandListstoEmployers.Electronicsamplescanbefoundonthe
LMRAswebsitetheirdetailsareasfollows:

MonthlyInvoice:thetotalmonthlyfeescalculatedforalltheWorkvisasoftheworkersinan
Establishment.
Invoicesoftheissuance,renewalortransferofWorkvisas:Alistoftheduefeespayableforissuing,
renewingortransferringWorkvisasfortwoyears.
ChangeofOccupation:thefeesofchangingtheworkersjoborduties.
