B. Developmental Activities
1. Motivation:
Lets sing the song to the tune of When youre happy and you
know clap your Hands.
If your room is always clean, clap your hands ( 2x)
If you care for you room, clap your hands.
If youre happy and you know that your room is always clean,
clap your hands
2. Presentation:
a. Lets read the sentences about Bessy.
1. Bessy is lazy.
2. Her house is dirty.
b. Show a picture of a big house with a beautiful garden.
Have the pupils describe it using the following guide questions.
1. Is the house big or small?
2. What are the colors of the flowers?
3. Is the house clean or dirty?
4. Is it ugly or beautiful?
5. Are the trees tall or short?
6. If you are Bessy, what will you do? Why?
Write pupils answer on the board.
What words are used to describe the house?
The words are called Adjectives.
3. Practice Exercises
3.1 Let the pupils describe their school using the given guide
questions.
3.2 Give a name of person, places, things, animals or events that
maybe described by the given adjectives in the first column.
