Objectives of the session:

Student is to demonstrate good listening skills, and gain patients confidence. Students are
expected to take a history of cardiovascular system and present the case.

Student is to observe professionalism and confidentiality.

It is not necessary to ascertain the correct diagnosis, but student is to demonstrate the ability to
seek advice from seniors and negotiate with the patient regarding a follow up plan.

Student should be able to make differential diagnosis before examination of patient.

Student is expected to understand the causes of central chest pain.

Student must be able to appreciate and find the source of chest pain and significance of
radiation.
