Good Day

RE: LETTER OF APPLICATION

This has reference to the forth coming CurrilumVitea for Mrs V Magungxu-Soga. I am
interested in the above said post and herewith is my application.

I am a South African female residing in Port Elizabeth, who matriculated with exemption in
the year 2006. I proceeded to the University of Fort Hare thereafter, where I pursued and
completed, my Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology and Industrial
Sociology, in June 2010, Honours Degree in Social Sciences majoring in Industrial
Relations, in 2011, and lastly completed my Masters Degree in Social Sciences at the same
University in 2014.

In between the years (from 2007 to date), I have been fortunate to acquire some work
experience which has been very useful for my personal and professional growth. I first
worked for Southern Sun as receptionist in 2007 for a period of two years. I then joined the
University of Fort Hare, where I served as a student tutor from 2009 to 2012 in the evenings
and during the day served as an office assistant on a contract of a year. I then followed on
to be certified as a tutorial coordinator which primarily involved facilitating workshop for both
undergraduates and postgrads students. In 2011 I took up full time employment as a post
graduate studies administrator under the Post Graduate Manager and Dean of Research in
the Govern Mbeki Research and Development Centre (GMRDC) of the University of Fort
Hare. I have also had the opportunity as a post graduate student to attend a number of
workshops and national conferences, where I was given the opportunity to align myself with
fellow scholars in grasping new areas of research.

I believe that my educational background and work experience has prepared me well
enough to fulfill duties/tasks of a leader and initiating an entrepreneurial spirit. I am a
hardworking person, friendly, time conscious, dedicated to duty, relates well with fellow
colleagues and has a good sense of team spirit. Working in the hospitality industry has
helped me learn to work under extreme pressure under a limited time frame. I am also able
to work with minimum supervision.

I do hope that my application will be favourably considered and will delightfully hear from you
soon. I am available for an interview at any time and would pleasurably assume duty with
immediate effect.

Yours Sincerely
Mrs V Magungxu-Soga.
