1.OPERATION PANEL DESCRIPTION

(1) POWER SWITCH ----ON (POWER ON)
Press ON button to power on NC control power.
Dont press this button also press any key of MDI/EDIT panel.

(2) POWER SWITCH----OFF (POWER OFF)


After pushing down EMERGENCY STOP button ,
press OFF button to power off NC control power.

(3) MODE SELECTOR SWITCH : (left to right form forward direction)


EDIT : Program edit mode
DNC : Tape mode (RS232 communication from PC)
AUTO : Auto program executing mode
MDI : Manual data input mode . Executing single block command inputting data
& machine parameters can be used with this mode.

HANDLE : Hand wheel (MPG) operating mode . NC control is just been operated
with MPG on HANDLE mode . Each grid of scale is 0.001 , 0.01 , 0.1
mm with metric unit or 0.0001 , 0.001 , 0.01 inch with inch unit .
JOG : Manual mode . Axes movement can be manual operating .

ZERO : Machine origin point return mode . When mode selector on ZERO RETURN
mode , press Z+Y+X- direction key for each axis . The
machine return to search origin point according on rapid speed . Adjusted
rapid speed via Percent switch of rapid speed. The machine will slow
down axes automatic when axis is closed origin point until LED of each
axis be lighten . It means ZERO RETURN of each axis is finished.

(4) RAPID MODE : Function of rapid mode should be switch to JOG mode . Then press
RAPID switch to move axes with the maximum speed (RAPID) .

(5) FEEDRATE SWITCH :Adjust switch percent for feed speed from 0% to 150% when
executing command of MDIAUTO or TAPE mode . Increase or decrease 10% to change
feedrate each grid .JOG mode can be adjusted jog speed on manual mode and program dry
run (DRN) for machine on AUTO mode. The speed range is 0 to 1260mm/min
( FEEDRATE SPECIFICATION A , PARA#11 bit 3)

(6) Percent switch of rapid speed:
Active on rapidZERO RETURN mode & G00 on AUTO mode . Rapid speed can be
adjusted from the switch , the range is LOW (set from machine parameter)
2550100%.

(7) Percent switch of spindle speed:


Spindle rotating speed can be adjusted form 50 to 120% , Increase or decrease 10% to adjust
speed each grid .

(8) OVERTRAVEL RELEASE SWITCH :


If machine is over each axis travel to overtravel limit switch , keep to press this switch
ON , then move machine to travel range with converse direction on manual mode
(JOGHANDLE mode ) . After that , execute axes ZERO RETURN on ZERO mode .

(9) SINGLE BLOCK SWITCH :


When the switch is ON on AUTO mode , program is able to execute with single
block . Operator should press CYCLE START switch to execute next program block .

(10) BLOCK IGNORE SWITCH :


When the switch is ON on AUTO mode , machine will ignore single command block
with / command . OFF is normal status .

(11) DRY RUN SWITCH :


When the switch is ON on AUTOMDITAPE mode , F (feedrate) will be
controlled on jog speed . (For new editing program test)

(12) WORK-PIECE AIR BLUST SWITCH : (OPTION)


When the switch is ON , nozzle will spray compressive air . If the function doesnt
close when M06M00 or M01 , air blust will be stopped .On auto program executing , M15
command to active air , M16 close . (Push off can be also closed )

(13) WORK LAMP SWITCH :
When the switch is ON on any mode , work lamp will be lighten .

(14) AUTO POWER OFF SWITCH : (OPTION)


When the switch is ON and block with M30 (program end) when execute program ,
machine will power off after 20 seconds (timer set from diagnose parameter) ; Before power off
, to press CYCLE START(37)RESET or the switch can cancel this function .

(15) OPTIONAL STOP SWITCH : (Used on AUTO mode)


When the switch is ON and program block with M01 , machine will pause program . The
function is similar M00 . If the switch is OFF , M01 is ineffective .

(16) MACHINE LOCK SWITCH :


When the switch is ON , machine stop axes but it still run GMS and T code function .
After the function , machine should be ZERO RETURN again .

(17) MANUAL ABSOLUTE SWITCH.


When the switch is ON , The manual absolute function is effective .

(18) COOLANT 1 SWITCH :


When the switch is ON on any mode , coolant liquid spray out . Switch it OFF ,
coolant liquid off . When program execute block with M08 command on AUTO mode , coolant
liquid spray out . M09 command to off . (press the switch to OFF also stop )

(19) COOLANT 2 SWITCH : ( OPTION )


When the switch is ON on any mode , coolant liquid spray out . Switch it OFF ,
coolant liquid off . When program execute block with M08 command on AUTO mode , coolant
liquid spray out . M09 command to off . (press the switch to OFF also stop )

(20) DOORINTERLOCK SWITCH:(OPTION)


When the switch is ON ,The door interlock will be released.

(21) DOOR SWITCH : DOOR OPEN/CLOSE ( Used on manual mode )(OPTION)

(22) PROGRAM RESTART SWITCH:


When the switch is ON ,The PROGRAM RESTART function is enable.

(23) SPINDLE ORIENTATION SWITCH :


When the switch is ON on manual mode ,The spindle to orientation position.
When the spindle in orientation status, the lamp will be lighten .

(24) GEAR CHANGE SWITCH:


When the switch is ON on manual mode ,executing spindle gear change high gear
to low gear or lowgear to high gear.

(25) CHIPCONVEYOR FORWARD SWITCH : (OPTION)


When the switch is ON , chip conveyor start movement with forward direction .
Switch OFF to stop .

(26) CHIPCONVEYOR REVERSE SWITCH : (OPTION)


When the switch is ON , chip conveyor start movement with reverse direction .
Switch OFF to stop .

(27) SPINDLE CW SWITCH : (Used on manual mode )


Before the switch ON , user should execute S command first on MDI or
AUTO mode . Then operate the switch on manual mode , spindle will rotate from
forward direction . After running spindle , spindle rotating speed can be adjusted form
50 to 120% of spindle percent switch .

(28) SPINDLE STOP SWITCH : (Used on manual mode )


When the switch is ON , spindle can stop running .

(29) SPINDLE CCW SWITCH : (Used on manual mode )
Before the switch ON , user should execute S command first on MDI or
AUTO mode . Then operate the switch on manual mode , spindle will rotate from
reverse direction . After running spindle , spindle rotating speed can be adjusted form
50 to 120% of spindle percent switch .

(30) TOOL MAGAZINE FORWARD SWITCH :


When the switch is ON on manual mode , tool magazine rotate with forward
direction .

(31) TOOL MAGAZINE REVERSE SWITCH :


When the switch is ON on manual mode , tool magazine rotate with reverse
direction .

(32) F1 SWITCH : Spare function switch 1.

(33) F2 SWITCH : Spare function switch 2.

(34) F3 SWITCH : Spare function switch 3.

(35) F4 SWITCH : Spare function switch 4.

(36) DATA PROTECT KEY :


When the key switch on OFF (Count clock direction) , programtool
datawork-piece coordinatediagnose parameter cant be edited . When the key
switch is ON (Clock direction) , those can be edited .

(37) CYCLE START SWITCH :
a.)Execute MDI command:When mode selector is on MDI mode and input single
block command , then press the switch to execute the command .

b.)Execute commands of program on memory:When mode selector is on AUTO


mode and select a program , then press the switch to execute the program .
c.)Restart command of program:After pressing CYCLE STOP switch , NC
interrupt program and machine will stop running . When press CYCLE
START switch again , its able to continue unfinished commands of
program .
d.)Execute commands of program from TAPE:When mode selector is on TAPE
mode , then press the switch than can execute program form external devices
(TapePC , etc)

(38) CYCLE STOP SWITCH :


If NC is executing commands of program , press the switch to make axes pause . The
lamp of switch is lighted , but spindle is still running .

(39) EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON :


When push down the button , NC commands will be stopped , servo systems and
other devices will be powered off . Inward knob of button rotate from clock direction
that can rehabilitate .

(40) +X DIRECTION CONTROL SWITCH :


When mode selector is on JOG mode or RAPID position , that make X axis move to
left direction . The jog speed can be adjusted from feedrate switch (5) , rapid speed
from rapid percent switch (6) .

(41) +Y DIRECTION CONTROL SWITCH :


When mode selector is on JOG mode or RAPID position , that make Y axis move to
front direction . The jog speed can be adjusted from feedrate switch (5) , rapid speed
from rapid percent switch (6) .

(Y AXIS ZERO RETURN SWITCH)

(34) +ZDIRECTION CONTROL SWITCH :
When mode selector is on JOG mode or RAPID position , that make Z axis move to
up direction . The jog speed can be adjusted from feedrate switch (5) , rapid speed
from rapid percent switch (6) .

(Z AXIS ZERO RETURN SWITCH)


(35) +4 DIRECTION CONTROL SWITCH : (OPTION)
When mode selector is on JOG mode or RAPID position , that make 4 axis rotate to
clock direction . The jog speed can be adjusted from feedrate switch (5) , rapid speed
from rapid percent switch (6) .

(4 AXIS ZERO RETURN SWITCH)


(36) -XDIRECTION CONTROL SWITCH :
When mode selector is on JOG mode or RAPID position , that make X axis move to
right direction . The jog speed can be adjusted from feedrate switch (5) , rapid speed
from rapid percent switch (6) .

(X AXIS ZERO RETURN SWITCH)


(37) -YDIRECTION CONTROL SWITCH :
When mode selector is on JOG mode or RAPID position , that make Y axis move to
back direction . The jog speed can be adjusted from feedrate switch (5) , rapid speed
from rapid percent switch (6) .

(38) -ZDIRECTION CONTROL SWITCH :


When mode selector is on JOG mode or RAPID position , that make Z axis move to
down direction . The jog speed can be adjusted from feedrate switch (5) , rapid speed
from rapid percent switch (6) .

When mode selector is on JOG mode or RAPID position , that make 4 axis rotate to
count clock direction . The jog speed can be adjusted from feedrate switch (5) , rapid
speed from rapid percent switch (6) .

(40) AXES ZERO DIRECTING LAMP :


After making ZERO RETURN function for each axis , lamp of desired axis will be
lighted when the axis ZERO RETURN has been done .

(41) DIRECTING LAMP of STATUS


A. ATC (auto tool changer) lamp : means ATC ready on normal .

B. M00/M01M02/M30 lamp :
When NC execute list of M code and active M code , lamp of correspondence M code will be
light .

(42) DIRECTING LAMP of WARNING STATUS : (form left to right)


A. SPINDLE lamp : Machine stop running , NC continues to run after solving those problems .
1.Spindle overheat or overload. 2.Spindle motor speed or origin alarm
3.Spindle speed detect abnormal. 4.Fuses or main circuits broken
B. NC lamp : Programoperate erroraxis over travelNC alarm etc.
C. Oil of lubrication low . When the lamp light , NC make commands of program to single
block execution .
D. PRESS lamp : Air pressure low or oil pressure low .

(43) SPINDLE TOOL RELEASE SWITCH :


The switch is collocated on right side of spindle machine cover . When the switch is
ON on manual mode , spindle will unclamp the tool . IF the switch is OFF ,
spindle will clamp the tool .

(45) Remote hand wheel (MPG) control box : (Used on HANDLE mode)
When mode selector is on HANDLE mode , axes are controlled from MPG .
A. Axes selector switch (XYZ4) : For axis selecting .
B. Scale rate selector switch (*1*10*100) : Metric unit with 110100 um , inch unit
with 0.00010.0010.01 .
C. Hand wheel : Each circle has 100 unit scale . Rotate to clock direction , desired axis move to
positive (+) direction . Rotate to count clock direction , desired axis move to negative (-)
direction .
