The Facebook revolution is making true human contact more difficult...Katharinenfeld (field of Catherine) is the old name of Bolnisi - whose origins I do not understand at present; but guess they have something to do with Swabia, from where Bolnisi was originally settled by a German protestant churchgroup(? 1820s). 'Katharinenfelt' is now amply signed in the city, with brown cultural heritage signing, but at present amounts only to a splendid collection of German houses - all in need of substantial repairs - the graveyard and plaque mentioned in Wikipedia (no more than a few meters' plot on the corner of two streets) and the 'Deutsche Molle' - or German Mill hotel and restaurant - fully restored, beautiful, and awaiting guests...
