COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course covers areas that explain and give purpose to people of inhabiting regions together with their cultures and tradition. It is geared towards
sociocultural literacy by having an in-depth understanding of human ecology, societies and culture and the interweaving of each aspect towards the
preservation and organization of a populace. The importance of a life form is similarly examined by taking a closer look on the basic unit of the society, how it
is formed and how it is controlled. Further, it will encourage students to be a fervent and functional individual sparking active citizenship to the community.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (LO)
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
1: Active participation during discussion.
2: Punctual submissions of Performance Tasks as follows: Deviances, Pay It Forward, Trailblaze a Change, Travelogue, Intercontinental culture,
Social thread and Plan It.
3: Completion of online quizzes and major examination.
4: Regular class attendance; reading of assigned text and other materials
