DAY 02: Sep 26 (Tue) ROME (L, D)
Arrive Rome airport, meet and assist on arrival. Tour with Photo stop at Colosseum; Arch
of Constantine; Monument Vittorio Emmanuelle II; Circus Maximus; Trevi Fountain;
Roman Forum; Pantheon; Spanish Steps are just one of these must see places when in
Rome and a great example of Roman Baroque Style. With its characteristic butterfly plan,
the Piazza di Spagna is one of the most famous images in the world. After Lunch, we shall
proceed to St. Peters Basilica to visit St. Mary Majors Basilica, a Papal major basilica
and the largest Catholic Marian church in Rome; St. Paul Outside the Walls Basilica
(UNESCO listed). It is one of Rome's four ancient, Papal, major basilicas along with the
Basilicas of St. John in the Lateran, St. Peter's, and St. Mary Major. The Basilica was
founded by the Roman Emperor Constantine I over the burial place of St. Paul, where it
was said that, after the Apostle's execution, his followers erected a memorial. According
to tradition, St. Paul's body was buried two miles away from the place of his martyrdom;
St John Lateran Basilica (UNESCO listed). It is the cathedral church of Rome and therefore
houses the cathedra, or ecclesiastical seat, of the Roman Pontiff. It is the oldest of and
has precedence among the four papal major basilicas, all of which are in Rome, because
it is the oldest church in the West and houses the cathedra of the Roman Pontiff. It has
the title of ecumenical mother church of the Roman Catholic faithful. Dinner at

DAY 03: Sep 27 (Wed) ROME/SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out of hotel. Start our day to St. Peters Vatican Square for the
Papal Audience. After lunch, we start long distance coach drive to San Giovanni
Rotondo. San Giovanni Rotondo was the home of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina from 28 July
1916 until his death on 23 September 1968. It is the second-most visited Catholic shrine
in the world. It centers on the tomb of Saint Padre Pio. Check into hotel for dinner and
overnight.
DAY 04: Sep 28 (Thu) SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO/LANCIANO (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out hotel. Start morning tour to St. Mary of Grace Church, a
devotion to the Virgin Mary in the Roman Catholic Church; San Pio da Pietrelcina
Church. After lunch, start of long distance coach to Lanciano, Chieti. Upon arrival at
Lanciano, we visit Eucharistic Miracle the Church of San Francesco built in 1258 over
a pre-existing 7th century church. The high altar houses the relics of the Eucharistic
Miracle; San Legonziano Church; Cattedrale Madonna del Ponte is dedicated to the
Virgin Mary as Santa Maria del Ponte is the duomo of Lanciano in Chieti. Check in to
hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 05: Sep 29 (Fri) LANCIANO/ASSISI/FLORENCE (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, check out of hotel for long distance coach drive to Assisi.
Visit the Basilica of St. Francis. After lunch, Long distance coach drives to Florence.
Check in for dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 06: Sep 30 (Sat) FLORENCE/NICE (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out of hotel. Start the long distance coach drive, 1 st stop at Duomo
Santa Maria dei Fiori (UNESCO listed), is the main church of Florence. It is the third
largest church in the world (after St. Peter's in Rome and St. Paul's in London) and was
the largest church in Europe when it was completed in the 15 th century. After lunch,
continue drive to Nice which is the fifth most populous city in France. Check in for dinner
and overnight at hotel.
DAY 07: Oct 01 (Sun) NICE/MONTPELLIER/LOURDES (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out of hotel. Long distance coach to Montpellier, the 8th largest
city of France, and is also the fastest growing city. After lunch, we continue drive to
Lourdes. Check in to hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 08: Oct 02 (Mon) LOURDES (B, L, D)
After breakfast, half day walking tour to visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes,
Basilica of our Lady of the Rosary: Bath at the Sanctuary, Confessions, Mass, Way of the
Cross. You can also visit the Lacad water-mill which was the house of Bernadettes
parents after the visions, a gift from Abbot Peyramale, priest of the parish. Inside you will
discover the furniture, objects and pictures that belonged to the Soubirous family. Also
outside the sanctuary you can visit the Moulin de Boly, Bernadettes birthplace. After
lunch, free time for private devotion. After dinner, we can join the Lourdes Candles
Procession (optional).
DAY 09: Oct 03 (Tue) LOURDES/TOULOUSE/LISBON (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out hotel in Lourdes and proceed to Toulouse airport for flight
bound to Portugal.

Meet and assist on arrival. Start of long distance coach drive to Jeronimos Monastery
founded in 1501 in Lisbon is a great monument to the Age of Discovery and a
magnificent example of the Manueline style of architecture, Cloisters, a place where
monks of nuns live: a monastery of convent; visit to St. Antonys Church. Chettikad St.
Antonys Church Ernakulam, Kerala is highly notable as a pilgrim centre. The church has
the grace of holding and preserving three sacred relics which includes a part of the
tongue of Saint Anthony. Dinner and check in to hotel in Lisbon.
DAY 10: Oct 04 (Wed) LISBON/SANTAREM/FATIMA (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out of hotel.Long distance coach drive to Santarem. Visit to Church
of the Miracle formerly known as St Stephens Church to see the oldest recorded
Eucharistic Miracle of Santarem. Continue long distance coach transfer to Fatima. Visit the
Sacred Sanctuary of Fatima where the tombstones of Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco are. To
better understand the life of the 3 little pastors, we will visit thehouse where they were
born in Ajustrel. See the well in the garden of Lucias home where the Angel of Peace,
the Angel of Portugal, appeared for the second time (in the summer of 1916). After
lunch, check in to hotel. Afternoon free time to visit the Chapel of Apparition for private
devotion. Dinner and overnight in hotel. Join the candle light procession.
DAY 11: Oct 05 (Thu) FATIMA/GUARDA/PORTUGAL/SALAMANCA (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out of hotel. Start the day at long distance coach bus drive to
Guarda, Portugal's highest city, at 1056 meters (3320 feet). After lunch, continue long
distance coach transfers to Salamanca with a history dating back to the Celtic era, its
known for its ornate sandstone architecture. Visit San Esteban Convent (UNESCO listed).
The church is considered to be an excellent example of the Plateresque style, the long
period of construction explains the mixture of styles ranging from Gothic to the late
Baroque (1524-1610); Salamanca Cathedral New & Old. The New Cathedral is, together
with the Old Cathedral, one of the two cathedrals of Salamanca, Spain. It was constructed
between the 16th and 18th centuries in two styles: late Gothic and Baroque; Cloister and
Museum (UNESCO listed) and view of Grand Plaza Mayor. Built between 1729 and 1755,
Salamanca's exceptional grand square is widely considered to be Spain's most beautiful
central plaza. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Salamanca.
DAY 12: Oct 06 (Fri) SALAMANCA/ALBA DE TORMES/SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

After breakfast, check out of hotel.Long distance coach to Alba de Tomes, an old
medieval town in the province of Salamanca. Tour begins at Santa Teresa Convent and
Museum, founded in 1685 and is still home to a small community of Carmelite nuns who
have restored the sizable building and converted part of it into a museum. Lunch and
continue long distance coach to Santiago de Compostela. Its known as the culmination
of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, and the alleged burial site of the Biblical
apostle St. James. Once inside, you will be carried away by the emotions produced by the
sight of so many extraordinary valuable works of art. Tradition invites us to perform some
rites: the most important and meaningful one is the hug to the Saint, go under the main
altar and visit the Crypt where the relics of St. James are preserved. This famous
pilgrimage site in north-west Spain became a symbol in the Spanish Christians struggle
against Islam. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 13: Oct 07 (Sat) SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA/LEON (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out of hotel. Start of long distance coach to Santiago de
Compostela Cathedral and Museum (UNESCO listed), Convent and Church of San
Francisco. The Church and Convent of San Francisco forms part of the City of Quito
World Heritage Site, the first site ever inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1978. After
lunch, continue long distance coach bound to Leon. After a period of stagnation during
the early modern age, Leon was one of the first cities to hold an uprising in the Spanish
War of Independence, and some years later, in 1833 acquired the status of provincial
capital. Leon's historical and architectural heritage, as well as the numerous festivals
hosted throughout the year (particularly noteworthy are the Easter processions). Dinner
and check in at hotel in Leon.
DAY 14: Oct 08 (Sun) LEON/BURGOS/ZARAGOZA (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out of hotel. Start the long distance coach drive toward Burgos.
Visit Cathedral Burgos (UNESCO listed). Our Lady of Burgos was begun in the 13th
century at the same time as the great cathedrals of the Ile-de-France and was completed
in the 15th and 16th centuries. The entire history of Gothic art is summed up in its superb
architecture and its unique collection of works of art, including paintings, choir stalls,
reredos, tombs and stained-glass windows. We continue the long distance coach drive to
Zaragoza. Dinner at an international restaurant, check in to hotel for overnight.
DAY 15: Oct 09 (Mon) ZARAGOZA/HUESCA/LES ESCALDES (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out of hotel.Visit to Basilica Del Pilar. Continuation of long
distance coach to Huesca. In the fertile county of La Hoya lies Huesca, which has a history
going back more than two thousand years. Visit Diocesan Museum including Cathedral
and the Tower. After lunch, long distance coach transfer to Les Escaldes. Dinner and
overnight at hotel in Les Escaldes.
DAY 16: Oct 10 (Tue) LES ESCALDES/ANDORRA LA VELLA/BARCELONA (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out of hotel. Visit Sanctuary of Our Lady of Meritxell. Our Lady of
Meritxell is the patron saint of Andorra. Its original statue dates from the late 12th
century. It was reported that the chapel in which it was housed burned down on
September 8 and 9, 1972, and the statue was destroyed. A replica can be found in the
new Meritxell Chapel, designed in 1976 by Ricardo Bofill. After lunch in Andorra la Vella,
continue long distance coach to Barcelona. Dinner and overnight in Barcelona.
DAY 17: Oct 11 (Wed) BARCELONA/MONTSERRAT/BARCELONA (B, L, D)
After breakfast, half-day excursion tour to Montserrat via long distance coach. Visit
Montserrat Monastery. Since the 12th century, pilgrims have been drawn to the
mountain to venerate the miraculous statue of the Black Madonna (La Moreneta). Then
drive back to Barcelona. After lunch, entrance to Sagrada Familia. The stunning La
SagradaFamlia is a must-see for any tourist passing through Barcelona. The towering,
still-under-construction basilica is beloved architect Antoni Gaudis most celebrated work.
The building of this ornamental wonder began in 1882 and is currently ongoing; Park
Guell (UNESCO listed). The Park Gell is one of the most beautiful parks in Barcelona.
Dinner and overnight in Barcelona.
DAY 18: Oct 12 (Thu) BARCELONA/AIRPORT (B, L)
After breakfast, check out of hotel. Full day excursion to La Roca Village for lunch and last
minute shopping. Proceed to airport for flight home
