1. INTRODUCTION

It is a SCADA Operational Manual for GENRAL COMPANY FOR IRON AND

STEEL.

This document includes all the functionality tools which is indicated &
configured as per the process requirements.

This Document consists of SCADA Screens operations & its function. It will be
useful during operation of process.

The operation will be carried out from the SIEMENS S7 300 PLC AND WINCC
7.2 SCADA (SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISTION)

2. SCREENS

1. PRECOOLING SYSTEM

When you click on above arrow 1 showing button it will open precooling system
window
Arrow 2 is showing the Air line which is coming from the air compressor
If you want to bypass precooling system, then open the V1103-2 manual valve
from field
Arrow 3 is showing the run status and error status of precooling system
Green color is indicating running status and red color is indicating stop status

2. PURIFICATION SYSTEM

When you click on above arrow 1 showing button it will open purification system
window
Arrow 2 is showing the open and close operation of particular valve when
purification system is selected in manual mode.
Arrow 3 is showing the selection of heater
Arrow 4 is showing the auto/manual selection for purification system
Arrow 5 is showing the air compressor interlock, it provides 2 button allow start
and e-stop
If you want to start air compressor then press allow start button from scada and
after start compressor from field.
Arrow 6 is showing the transmitter value as per the field.
Arrow 7 is showing the process set points of purification system in next
screenshot.

3. BOOSTER EXPANDER

When you click on above arrow 1 showing button it will open booster expander
window
Arrow 2 is showing the oil pump start permissive.
Before start oil pump PIAS407 is should be grater then equal to 0.2, TI409A
should be grater then equal to 12.0 and PR difference should be low
Arrow 3 is showing the pump selection before start from field
Arrow 4 is showing the valve opening operation for HC-402B-2 AND HC-402A-2
Arrow 5 is showing the PID operation for FCV401B and 401A.
It provides you auto and manual selection for PID operation
Arrow 6 is showing the permissive FOR ET401-A AND ET401-B when all
permissive are healthy then it allows to start HV401-B1 AND HV401-A1 valve.

4. Heat exchanger

When you click on above arrow 1 showing button it will open heat exchanger
window
Arrow 2 and arrow 3 are showing the PCV 104-1 and 102-1control valve.
When you click on graphics of that valve then PID operation window will open.
It provides you auto and manual selection for PID operation.

5. Distillation column

When you click on above arrow 1 showing button it will open heat distillation
column window
Arrow 2 and arrow 3 are showing the LCV2-1 and 1-1control valve.
When you click on graphics of that valve then PID operation window will open.
It provides you auto and manual selection for PID operation.

6. O2 COMPRESSOR

When you click on above arrow 1, 2 and 3 showing button it will open O2
compressor window
Arrow 1, 2 and 3 is showing compressor are 30 bar capacity
Arrow 4 showing graphics is run status and error status of compressor
It also provides emergency stop provision for stop the compressor

7. O2 AND N2 COMPRESSOR

When you click on above arrow 1 showing button it will open O2 N2 compressor
window.
Arrow 2 is showing NITROGEN compressor graphics which have 20 bar capacity.
Arrow 3 is showing oxygen compressor graphics which have 20 bar capacity.

8. ALARM

When you click on above arrow 1 showing button it will open alarm window.
Alarm is showing as per the date and time if any fault is happen in plant.

9. TRENDS

When you click on above arrow 1 showing button it will open trend window.
Trend is the process value of transmitters which is showing in graphical form as
per the date and time

When you click on above arrow 1 and arrow 2 showing button it will open
transmitter setting window.
In that page you can set or caliber the transmitters hi range and lo range
Also it gives you information about engineers value.
