Pres: The words 'solar system' refer to the Sun and all of the objects that travel around it. Our
solar system is made up of a star - the Sun - eight planets, 162 moons, dwarf planets and a
bunch of comets, asteroids and other space rocks.

Pres: Solar system is very important to us.If there is no solar system how could we get sunlight
and life on this earth. There are many many other reasons as well.
Krissanta: It is important because it contains our planet Earth, the sun in which our ecosystem
harvests energy and other planets to help the Earth to maintain a steady orbit around the sun,
just at the right distance so we don't fry or freeze.

we don't have the sun then there will be no life on Earth since it is too cold for life to grow, and
the Earth will be a frozen chunk of ice.

Krissanta: Clearly, we (Earth) can't live without the Sun. It gives us energy/ electricity and
warmth. Plants need the Sun for photosynthesis, we need it as light during the day
