Planned Parenthood Can Run, But Not Hide

In preparation for Metro Women‟s
Center‟s 20th Anniversary this
year, I was reviewing old pictures
of moms and babies, and I was
overwhelmed with thankfulness to
our God, our donors, our church
partners, and our
volunteers for their
unwavering faithfulness.
I was also struck by the
diversity represented in
the photographs. The
reality that anyone,
regardless of cultural or
spiritual background or
age, economic or marital status,
could experience a challenging
pregnancy was staring me
in the face.
Those pictures started me thinking
back to March of 1990, the first
month MWC was in operation.
The first client who walked into
the office that month was
abortion-minded and was not a
Christian. However, she allowed
one of our volunteers to share
