VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Job Title: PROCUREMENT ENGINEER Job Location: Lebanon - Beirut

Reports to: Procurement Team Lead Category: Operations

Brief Job description:

1. Evaluate and assess tender documents and RFPs from major international oil
companies
2. Review and analyze technical specifications of equipment requested by clients
3. Source for worldwide suppliers and manufacturers that qualify technically and
commercially
4. Evaluate suppliers quotations to determine best price and delivery date
5. Procure equipments ( such as pumps, valves, seals, compressors, instrumentation )
from suppliers worldwide (US, France, Germany, Italy , UK .....) in compliance with the
requested specifications
6. Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up with the manufacturers to make sure
production schedules are respected

Person Specification:

Education : BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Professional experience: 2 to 4 years

Technical Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Effective negotiation skills
Keen attention to details
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, excel, outlook..)
Experience in ERP systems is a plus

Languages: Excellent command of English language, in addition to Arabic (French is a plus)
