questions below.

1. How have your values changed over the semester, if at all?

I believe that I had most of the same values that I had before the class
started, but I have definitely obtained new values while completing this
class. My mind has been opened up to topics that I have never really
thought about before this class including how we view our own happiness,
and different opinions of body image around the world.

2. How have your morals evolved over the semester, if at all?

I feel like I have grown tremendously as a person during this semester.

This class I believe has truly changed me for the better. I have become a
lot more grateful for the things that I have in my life and have made it my
mission to become the best person I can be.

3. Do you pay more attention to the news? Why or why not?

Recently since my eyes have been opened to many concerning topic, I

have definitely paid more attention to the news. I think the reason why is
the fact that I care about what is going on in the world a lot more than I
did before this semester.

4. Do you see any dangers in which way the news is presented to us after
taking this course?

Yes, I do. Before this course, I had already had a basic knowledge of how
you shouldnt believe everything that the media tells you, but my
awareness grew greatly during the course. Many news outlets are biased
towards a certain political party and manipulate the story to favor their
side.
5. Would you consider yourself a critical thinker? Do you assess things
differently now after taking this course?

Yes, I do think of myself as a critical thinker and I believe that I definitely

do see things differently after completing this course. Before the course,
I believe that I was already pretty knowledgeable in some of these topics,
but this course just heightened them to another level.

6. Are you more aware of our individual differences and challenges after
discussing identity and privilege?

Yes, I believe I am. I never really explored what other people were going
through before this class and I feel like after I have a better knowledge of
how much harder it is for certain people.

7. How much do you now and/or still rely on the Internet for information?
Are you more cautious?

I would definitely say I am more cautious to where I retrieve my

information on the internet. I am more inclined to make sure I am looking
into verified and credited sources that I can trust before I take any
knowledge from them.

8. Would you consider yourself a philosopher, a lover of wisdom and

insight?

I honestly do believe that I am. Like I mentioned before, I never really

thought about that sort of thing before the class started but while I was
involved in the class I was craving the wisdom and knowledge that I was
receiving.

9. After taking this course, have you found new ideas, people, topics, etc.
that gives your life more meaning?

Yes, I definitely believe that I have. I have learned some of the most
important things in life for myself and have decided to focus my energy
towards those things and not the things that are temporary in life.

10. Are you still sleepwalking through life? Or are you awake a bit more?

I would say that I am definitely awake. Like I mentioned before I never

really thought about most of the topics that we discussed in this class
including this one but after this class I feel like I am able to evaluate
myself more efficiently.
11. In what ways can thinking about your own death this semester
impacted the way you live?

I think that after talking about it extensively, I have learned to pay more
attention to my friends and family and in general just making connections
with people in this life. Also, I have really made it my mission to strive
towards my goals.

12. Do you have a better understanding of your purpose in life?

Yes, I would definitely say that that would be a correct statement. I have
just decided to believe in what I think will make me happiest while I am
on earth.

13. What are you most grateful for? Are you more grateful now in life?

As I mentioned above I have definitely become more grateful in life. I

have taken some time to reflect on what makes me happy and that I have
a pretty good life as it is. What my reflection ended up revealing is that
my family is what I am most grateful for in life just because they have
always been there for me and helping me.

14. One of the best ways to make yourself happy is to make other people
happy. Have you done that over the semester to make others happy, if
anything?

Yes, I believe that I have made more of an effort towards making others
happy before myself. During my reflection period, I also realized that that
is when I am most happy is when I can make others smile and laugh.

15. How much of your happiness depends on how good things are going
with Work/Career/School? Why? Has it stayed the same or changed over
the semester?

Before this class I would say that I would have put those certain things on
a higher pedestal than anything else because those were really the only
things that I was focusing on at the time. During the semester it has
changed dramatically towards the opposite side of the spectrum with
family and mental health and social relationships.

16. Overall, what have your learned from this course, if anything?

One of the main things that I have learned from this course is to continue
to analyze my life and make sure I am doing what I want to do, continue to
also be grateful for everything I have and to pursue what I am passionate
about.

17. What was your favorite topic discussed this semester?

My favorite topic by far would be the happiness and the good life section
where we analyzed our own happiness and others happiness and what is
most important to us.

18. What was your least topic discussed this semester?

My least favorite topic this semester would have to be the body image
section because I didnt really learn anything that I didnt already know.
There were definitely some things that I didnt know but overall, I already
knew about most of the topic.

19. What final insight or message did you take from this course?

I think that the biggest takeaway I have from this course is just to be a
good person and follow your heart as cheesy as it sounds.

20. Any personal message to me as the instructor?

I want to thank you for taking me on this journey and opening my mind up
to different ideas and information. It will truly stay with me throughout
my lifetime and I will extend it to others that I care about.
