applied, calculation of no-load characteristics and rated field

finite element method (FEM) which can overcome these
problems has been successfully applied in the analysis of the
electromagnetic field inside the machine and to determine its

V. CALCULATION
The methods of no-load characteristics analysis and rated
field current calculation based on nonlinear with FEM are
elaborated theoretically and systematically. And the magnetic
nonlinear of iron core and structural complexity are considered.
The calculation model is matched with the actual generator.
This paper has completed the no-load characteristics analysis.
With the comparison between calculated results and measured
