SUBJECT : PVC PIPE INSTALLATION METHODOLOGY

A. PVC SANITARY WORKS:

1. Check the approval for Construction drawing with the actual jobsite and
architectural plan.
2. Prepare necessary shop drawings and working permits required for
coordination with other trade and to make the installation routing simple
and neat.
3. Assemble the PVC section on the floor and applied approved sealant on its
joint hub.
4. Layout the routing of PVC pipe subsequently marking and drilling the exact
location where to attach the support.
5. Start fabrication of hangers and supports, PVC pipe to be installed on the
marked areas.
6. Install the support, PVC pipe rigidly on its proper location. Put sealant on
every connection using. Make sure PVC block out is correct.
7. Prepare all necessary papers for testing.
8. Prepare the PVC for testing, smoke testing procedure.
9. Do in-house testing first before scheduling for the final test with Company
representative.
10. After acceptance of test, handover after punchlist and work is done.
