EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The purpose of this report is to summarize my summer internship project for my evaluation. The
project was done at SKS microfinance limited and was done for two months duration (30 th
April2010 to 30th June 2010) at their Hyderabad head office.

The research project entitled “Impact of self learning on adult learners” is an attempt to
understand the opinion and attitudes of a category of employees of SKS microfinance limited
towards the self-effectiveness of the learning module which is one of the several training services
provided by the company.

It also aims to study and know obstacles in the proper utilization of this effective training
program from the perspective of both the employees and the organization and try to suggest
remedial measures from wherever possible.

The data was collected through self structured questionnaire s. About 120 employees were
considered for the sample size out of 500 employees who are the participants of this training and
learning practice. The survey was conducted at various branches of the company.

In the course of the study it was found that the training programs which was analyzed was
provided to all the unit managers of SKS microfinance limited. The in depth study of the welfare
measures adopted by the company revealed that majiority of the employees were fairly satisfied
with this training and self learning program.
