Goods and Services
Goods are defined as products, merchandises, to be sold to customers.
There are two types of goods: durables and nondurable. Durable goods
last for a relatively long time even though they may be used repeatedly.
Examples are cars, furniture, and appliances. Nondurable Goods are used
up in one or a limited number of uses, and perish. Examples of them are
food, gasoline, clothes, medicines, and others. Goods are usually
produced far from the marketplace and are moved by distributor to
where they are sold. On the other hand, services are activities that are
offered for sale, such as services provided by plumbers and electricians.
Look at the ads about offering some products, and then answer true
(T) or false (F) to the statements.
