ONLINE BLOOD TEST RESULTS

I. INTRODUCTION

In nowadays, most of the national institutions tend to expand their

services through online channels, for increasing their reliability and
quickness to accomplish their service delivery efficiently. With internet
technology which is slightly changing in Rwanda facilitates institutions
online to support so information sharing.

This introduction is describing our final year project that titled online
blood test results; we will design this system that will help donors to
get their results of their tests through online. In this project we
referenced for many sites related on this project and also for same
institutions and High hospitals as CHK, RUHENGELI Hospital and
CNTS (Centre National de Transfusion Sanguine) and we have been also
referenced for people who tested, by then is where we have got the idea
of making this project for improving quick and better tests feedback.

II. PROBLEM STATEMENT

For choosing to develop this project, there are same problems that we
have found within this service so that we thought how we can handle it.
Some of them come from donors and other problems from Doctors,

So same of those problems are:

- People spend much time for coming and going to check if their
tests have been completed
- Sometimes files of donors lost because are hardcopies

- Document can be lost easily.

- Risk of mismanagement of donors information.

- The existing system is manual, so it needs to be changed to an

automated system.

III. SOLUTIONS OF THOSE PROBLEMS

After seeing those problems, we think how we can solve those issues
by:

- Designing a dynamic website application that will handle that

issue for helping people or donors to get their results online by
logging on system and get results.

IV. OBJECTIVE

In this project our main objectif is to to help in delivering blood test
results to the donor, without going back to the blood collecting center
where the blood test was carried out.
V. SCOPE

This system should be used for any blood testing organization like
National correcting center of blood Transfusion (CNTS) and also it
will be used for hospitals for providing doctors about patients test in
hospitals.

V. HYPOTHESIS

In this project contain more links for making this system to have full
collaboration and better management.

These links include:

- admin link
- home page
- donor login
- doctor login page
- results

VI. TECHNOLOGY

Some requirements that are used in this project includes:

- computer machine with high capacity RAM and HDD,
- Web server (Xamp),
- Sublime text and notepad++ text editors,
- PhpMyAdmin for Database.
- Language: JAVA

2) MYSQL installed on windows platform.

3) Eclipse installed on windows platform.

4) Apache tomcat installed on windows platform.

5) Mysql connector installed on windows platform.

VII.OVERVIEW OF THIS PROJECT

System Description:

This system is used to maintain blood test results of all the donors by
storing the donor records and showing their feedback tests. It also
allows the Donors to view their results without going to the correcting
center or Hospital and communication between Donor and doctor can
be done online for other additional information.

The donor need to login on his account by the provided username and
password through the system.

The project has the following parts:

1. The Donor login, through which the Donor logs in his/her account
to view his test results.

2. After login; the Donor can view his feedback results.

3. The changed of all record with the Donor.

4. Doctor login, where doctor through for hosting the donor results
