Have you ever heard of keyboard warriors? No, theyre not well trained to fight
using their keyboards. And no, theyre definitely not writers who use words as a
weapon to let their voices be heard despite the circumstances. These people are the
ones you see in the comment section on every news article, a post from a celebrity
who recently got to a controversy or simply on a praiseworthy piece which these
folks cant fully comprehend due to faulty logic and biased reasoning. They are also
the ones who post their personal problems on facebook that generally, the people
dont care about.
The first type that I mentioned is simply annoying by any means. Some of them
are rude and some are malicious, after being defeated by those citizens with high
standard logic and reasoning they bear hate towards that person and attack him
personally. You clearly can see their shallowness and lack of understanding about
the right way to win an argument. Sometimes it's nice to argue with someone for
you to have a deeper understanding of other peoples philosophy in life but if you
get to encounter a keyboard warrior you better stop, turn your phone or computer
off and just think about happy thoughts because they can surely ruin your whole day
with just one absurd statement and better not let them do it.
The second type of keyboard warrior is the one who publishes almost all of their
problems about work or even about their personal lives. These people clearly just
want sympathy and attention from the others who arent involved on the issue.
Because in real life they dont have the courage to confront the person they have
issues with and instead of talking about it personally, these people choose to just
raise the victim card and seek back up from those who are willing to defend them
even if they dont know the whole story. They got to understand that the whole
World Wide Web should not know everything they do, they plead for privacy but
they do such actions that visibly can nullify the privacy theyre asking for. The last
thing you want to see on social media is the problem of another person so, the best
way to avoid this kind is to simply mute or unfriend them, thats what they're made
for.
I have come to a conclusion that staying on the Internet has its ups and downs.
You can voice out your opinion but make sure about its quality and above all
sensible. Use your freedom of speech wisely, ignore all the illogical commenters but
accept criticisms with open arms and wide understanding. The Internet is created
for us to access information easily, but dont forget your limitations. Dont hide
behind the screen and hate on people, dont fool youngsters and most of all spread
only the truth. And the next time you have something to say to someone about a
certain issue, do yourself a favor and say it straight to their face. Believe me, one-on-
one conversations are more effective. Always remember that theres more to life
than computer screens and keyboards.

3. The 3 questions I will ask my sources regarding the topic about Extrajudicial
Killings should be: (1) What is the legal definition of extrajudicial killings? (2) Are
the officials who practice this kind of unlawful act can be punished and prosecuted?
(3) What are the legal actions the government can do to bring justice for the victims
of extrajudicial killings?
PART 2
Have you seen the headline of The Manila Times last August? I believe that
the former Justice secretary and the current Senator Leila De Lima has many
controversies regarding the drug trade inside the Bilibid but, to expose her
private photo wearing a bikini with huge bold letters above saying Love Affair
led to Corruption? The photo is not necessary to justify the said headline dont
you think? I dont see any logical connection between the two. Throughout the
history, theres always been this kind of unequal treatment between men and
women not just in politics but also in every aspect of our society. Accusing
someone of being corrupt is already a huge controversy, I believe in fair trial and
prosecution so no matter if shes guilty or not its none of my business, its their
job to judge her not mine. Seeing her bikini-clad body on the front page of the
newspaper disgusts me, not because of her but because of irresponsible
journalism. I dont know their motives but as far as I know, their aim is to
humiliate her and target her personally using her mistakes just to destroy her
character. You dont get to see a male politician having this kind of controversy
after being involved in a crime, you dont get to see a male politician being body-
shamed, you dont get to see a male politicians affair being broadcasted all
throughout the country. I dont really understand this kind of mindset. It's
already the modern era and yet we still acknowledge body-shaming, Ive read
comments on that thread, and a lot of them are just plain rude and illogical. Her
personal love affair has nothing to do with the issue of corruption, they dont
have to incorporate it to the issue she already has. Her affair is something were
less concerned with, they have to focus on proving their accusations on the
senator and not her personal life. I get it, her driver might be that one witness
who can acknowledge every accusation they have on her but digging on their
personal relationship isnt really necessary, it doesnt affect the validity of the
mans statement regarding the issue. Lets focus on one issue and lets just not
use any personal attack on her or even anyone, destroying her character is
considered bullying and its unprofessional to do so. Focus on unprejudiced trial
and lets not attack each other subjectively, be the professional everyone has
perceived you to become.
