Dear Church Family,
It is hard to believe that school is starting in just a couple of weeks. It has
been a short summer. And all that Christmas in July stuff makes my head
spin.

This past Sunday we heard from some of the youth that attended Super
Summer camp. Im sure it was a great experience for those who attended
and we praise the Lord for the young man who trusted Christ as Savior.
Please encourage those young folks when you have an opportunity to do so.
In fact, it would be great if some of you, more mature- in- the- faith people
would consider doing some one-on-one mentoring/discipleship with some
of them.

We also heard from Mike Harney, Cody Doggette, and Maria Good about
their mission venture to Nicaragua. It is no doubt a life changing experience
when you go there. You come back with a new appreciation of what you
have here in this country.

Both of these events were made possible because of your financial and
prayer support. You are a loving and giving people here at FBC. Inside this issue:

School begins Thursday, August 10, 2017. Help us get boys and girls
ready for school by donating the following supplies:

pencil cases, pencils, erasers

folders with fastener
glue
crayons and colored pencils
notebook paper
spiral composition/theme books
hand sanitizer
back packs.

A drop off box is available at the office.

Sundae Sunday is Promotional Sunday for

preschool-youth. Join us for a super sundae
following Sunday School in the Fellowship
Hall.
