Summary of Main Responsibilities


Transfer to field staff instructions and guidelines from the project management, and report to the
project management about the progress of the activities in the field
Report to the project management any other issues related to the project implementation and,
more in general, to CESVI activities in the area of intervention.
Assist - with inputs deriving from the experience developed in present and past projects - the PM
in:
- The decision-making related to the daily implementation of the project activities
- The mid- and longer-term activity planning
Develop a certain degree of autonomy in managing issues related to the daily implementation
ofthe activities.
Help co-ordinate and link the work of sectoral (hygiene, WATSAN, Livelihood, etc.) experts,
coordinators, team leaders and consultants and their field teams.
Co-ordinate and link the different activities in the field and the field tearns appointed for the
purpose, optimizing the use of the project assets, equipment and means
within the frame of the project work-plan, assign tasks to appropriate staff members, on the
basis of her/his knowledge of each staff member's individual capacities
Act as a first filter, and report to senior management, in case of any problems (frictions, incidents,
etc") among project team members.
Train junior field team on CESVI's basic principles, policies, approach to humanitarian
interventions, codes of conduct, etc.
Based on a constant evaluation of the daily activities, suggest to the senior management

modifications and improvements of implementation methodology, staff composition, assets and
equipments, etc..
Help design and revise the project work-plan, and monitor that the implementation of the
activities respects the trine-table milestones and deadlines.
Quickly react to changes - of any kind - in the context in which the project activities are being
implemented, inform the senior management about thern and contribute to finding proper
adjustments.
At field level, establish and maintain contacts with other actors involved in the implementation
process (local authorities, beneficiaries and their representatives, other humanitarian
organizations, etc.) and report to the PM any information, communications, request, originating
from them.
Develop the capacity to record, eiaborate and report to the PM field staff's feedback on daily
activities, suggestions, proposals, analysis, requests, complaints, and any inputs which could
increase the quality of CESVI's humanitarian interventions.

Summary of Main Responsibilities


Will lead in implementing food security & disaster risk reduction intervention in south Mudug and
undertake designed food security and disaster risk reduction activities into implementation work.
Works closely with 2 consultants, to assist them in starting up the project & learn from their expertise
The role will also responsible to ensure that livelihoods and DRR programs are successfully integrated
with health and livelihoods support to enhance resilience of the communities in Mudug.
S/he should be a proven team player and be able to work closely with livelihood and DRR consultant.
It also involves liaising and working closely with the Health team to ensure integrated approach for the
area.
The overall, position is to supervise and oversee the effective provision of food security and DRR
activities and medical services to vulnerable IDP and rural populations in Mudug.
He/she will lead the team in building an effective health system in the MCH and ensure appropriate
service is provided by CESVI.
Responsible for monitoring security in all field locations
Ensuring logistics, planning vehicles and supporting delivery of supplies, through liaison with PM and
Country Office

Representing Cesvi in co-ordination meetings with other NGOs, UN, other stakeholders, local

Summary of Main Responsibilities


Working under supervision of the Project Manager, the officer represents in livelihood and food
security fora in the district, maintains good relations with stakeholders, provides feedback on
humanitarian situation, and any other contextual issues.
Coordinates implementation of project activities in the district, including addressing of complaints
from beneficiaries
Introducing the project to district stakeholders and guiding prioritization of intervention villages
based on set criteria;
Sensitization in target villages on project objectives and approaches, and beneficiary selection criteria;
Ensure beneficiaries are informed and regularly reminded about their entitlements from the project,
and the confidential complaints mechanisms;
Facilitating formation and training of village response committees where applicable.
Facilitate the selection, registration and verification of beneficiaries families, and collection of baseline
data on sample of the beneficiaries and selection of project activity sites;
Facilitate in selection, signing of agreements and training for the vendors;
Organize for participatory monitoring with beneficiaries of the implementation process, effectiveness,
identified risks, and effects (positive and negative) on beneficiaries and markets;
Facilitate capturing and documentation of key lessons on cash based response and share with Project
manager.
Preparation of works progress reports together with other project team members.
Compiling monthly activity progress reports.
Prepare training reports for all the technical trainings carried out.
