INTRODUCTION

People nowadays are in the modern world of technology. Our world revolves

around technology particularly the computers. Almost everyone uses the computers, for

whatever purposes anyone has in mind. Some uses it for communication, others

entertainment. Some use it for business operations and others for the sharing of

information.

Data is everywhere and very important. People create, share, manipulate and

turn it to meaningful information. To do this effectively, information systems are used.

One important information system is the web information system. It is where information

can be used or utilized directly through the use of computer.

Schools take advantage of this since it lets target users both faculty members

and principal to do task conveniently. Many now rely on technology to improved

productivity and overall performance. Many are even using information system but of

course, not all can afford technological upgrades especially small business or companies

even small schools. The School wants to give the best for their faculty members and

principal just as the way they can do to provide whats the best service that they have.
The Luacan National High School is the biggest of the four existing public

high schools in Dinalupihan in terms of student population. Luacan National High School

is located at Olongapo-Bataan Rd, Dinalupihan and Bataan. The principal observed that

the faculty members in Luacan National High School. The principal observed that it was

difficult for teachers to get schedule due to the manual process for getting theirs schedules

for their designated class so that they directed to give us a task to do a system for them to

make the task became easily. The traditional way of getting the schedule for the teachers

has need a lot of time consuming and effort. In traditional way of getting the schedule

they need to write a lot of schedules in papers and go to the principal to confirm if their

schedule was correct.

Since the Luacan National High School is using the traditional way of

handling out the schedule of the teachers the proponents decide create a system for them.

The objective of the proposed system is to establish a web based system so that it can be

hosted and accessed by the school and can be accessed by the users so they dont have to

write their schedule manually and go to the principals office to approve and confirm their

schedule in the manual process.

Statement of the problem 3

1. Describe the Facultys time schedule system for Luacan National High

School as evaluated by Head Teacher respondent in terms of:

1.1 Accuracy;

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

Based on the study of Catapang (March 2011), Faculty Attendance Monitoring
System St. Gabriel Archangel Academy the time management accuracy integrity
lessen the time consumed in system processing be more accurate be efficient a user-
friendly system be more effective just keep it simple and to be automated objectives
to meet our client's requests. This study is to develop and implement a Faculty
Attendance Monitoring System for St. Gabriel Archangel Academy to have an easy
and fast access on tracing their ins and outs.

According to Adlaon, Enriquez, Estrebillo, Panganoron, & Sator (2013),

Payroll System with Daily Time Record Using Bio-Metric Authentication the aim
of this project is to identify and solve the problems concerning the Payroll and Daily
Time Record System of DBA enterprise a fast growing company which caters
direct selling of AVON products throughout Mindanao. The company experiences
some concerns on monitoring the attendances of their employees and the
computation of the payroll of each employee. The traditional payroll and daily time
record system could no longer cope with the number of branches they have all over
Mindanao. Through the analysis made by the proponents, it has been found that
Payroll System with Daily Time Record using Biometric Authentication may solve
the current problems of the company. The study covered the cost of the proposed
system, its operational functions, its benefits and its impact towards the company.

Based on the study of Paul Abryan R. Alagar, & Franz Gerald T. Nono (February
2014), Development of Generic Automated Employee Daily Time Record
Management System Using RFID the system can track and monitor employee time
in and out using RFID technology, provides system management settings such as
date and time format, report settings, time zone, display, password and security. It
also provides a file management system that stores employees information and
system transaction logs, and generates printing of attendance reports.

According to Sharina Joy (August 2014), Daily Time Record System the
Eastern Tanay Supermarket in Tanay, Rizal is a company wherein they do perform
manual for keeping the daily time record of their employees. When it comes to paper
works, the establishment works in manual process like writing the employees
information and the Time-In, Time-Out process in a blue record book and then put it
in file cabinets along with other forms such as planning record, events, leave benefits
and more. The punctuality Employees of Eastern Supermarket written in a Daily
Time Record that is being checked at the end of the day. These are the few things
that Eastern encounters in their everyday work. In addition, relying on manual
procedure is not an easy task for them. Because of having lot of information, at times
it leads to incorrect input of employees record, inaccurate and most especially, not
secures confidential files.

Based on the study of Joken Villanueva (January 2016), Automated Daily Time
Record Monitoring System this is an Automated Daily Time Record Monitoring
System that can be used as a tool for monitoring the attendance of
all students and Employees of the school. Using this system you can integrate
the Bar code scanner or RFID scanner to accept input from student or Employees
to speed up the process of logging in. The system is able to track student and
employees attendance and performance, manage member information.

According to Ma Gelanie Bardillon Crisostomo (2007), My Time Force

Time Force is the key to proficient and successful time tracking and management in
your workplace. It is a software-based time and attendance system that allows the
user to collect and organize employee time data simply and accurately.
Based on the study of Messmer (2012), Time and Attendance System time and
attendance systems not only track hours and attendance but also allows to manage
employee scheduling and produce invoice and other materials based in part on time
allocated job or project. Some programs allow one to identify and analyze labor cost
according to employee, branch, department, and specific project. Rouse (2012) stated
that time and attendance software is a type of business application designed to track
and optimize the hours that employees spend on the job and keep records of wages
and salaries paid. This type of software is common in businesses of all sizes. It also
provides management of personnel with diverse tools to help maximize cash flow
and minimize waste. Smith (2011) also discussed the advantages of having a time
and attendance system these advantages are as follows: Reduce errors, Increase
security, Increase productivity, Save money, Increase employee satisfaction.

According to John Currier (November 2013), Automated Employee Attendance

Daily Time Record the output data of this system will be used as reference in
creating payroll. In addition, the system will provide total security of data,
monitoring of the employees reports, and evaluating each employee based on the
data shown in their records. For the security, the system is equipped with unique
barcode scanning that will scan each identification card of the employee containing
the barcode and safety store it to the database that can be used for future references.

Based on the study of Peter C. DiMaria, James Madsen (2014), Biometric time
and attendance system with epidermal topographical updating capability a
biometric time and attendance device for scanning an epidermal portion of a human
body, generating an epidermal topographical pattern and transmitting the epidermal
topographical pattern to a host computer for determining access privileges and for
updating epidermal topographical database.
According to Gilbert K. Gidiglo (2014), Barcode Reader application for
Timekeeping- Time & Attendance Management- In Gold Mining Organisations :
Tarkwa Goldfields Ghana Limited he mentioned that Timekeeping is very critical
to any organization, for it is based on this that employees are correctly remunerated,
compensated, effectively rewarded etc. If the systems used are wrought with human
errors and mistakes, could there be a more efficacious means that could minimize or
solve some, if not all the problems associated with the old systems'. This thesis is to
assess the present system of timekeeping used in the mining organizations and to
evaluate the difference and effect that the introduction of biometric fingerprint in
timekeeping will bring.
