Rationale: Raz-Kids is an online reading resource kids use to practice reading and improve
literacy skills. Students have access to a huge library of interactive e-books offered at 29
different levels of difficulty. Student access their e-books in an interactive, kid friendly
environment where they listen to the content while viewing highlighted words and phrases.
There are interactive features that promote close reading and critical thinking. Each book comes
with annotation tools, a word journal, and vocabulary cards. There are corresponding quizzes to
check for comprehension. As they complete the quizzes, they move on new reading levels.
