Grading:
Each months studio project will be assigned a letter grade as well as weekly art journaling/sketching.
Rubrics will be used for student assessment as well as instructor assessment. Grading scales will follow
the Caurus Academy grading policies.
Artsonia:
The majority of our work will be assessed on: Each student at Caurus Academy will have a

A little bit about me:

My name is Kyra Kalageorgi or Miss K. I am a Dive master, muralist, mosaicist, photographer,


as well as the Caurus Academy Middle School Life Skills and Art Teacher. I am a graduate from
Michigan State University, have traveled to and fro around the globe and have a huge
appreciation for sharks, animals, the arts, the world and different cultures. I have worked with
kids on large-scale projects for various communities around Arizona and Michigan. I greatly
look forward to the 2017-2018 year and for all the amazing projects our middle schoolers have
in store! Go Huskies!
