Dear Sir/Madam,

Kindly refer to your application against the open advertisement (GATE 2017) for
recruitment of Officer Engineering Discipline. We are pleased to inform that you have
been short-listed for Group Task / Personal Interview basis the on-line information
submitted by you and GATE 2017 marks scored by you. Accordingly, you are requested
to appear for the process as under:

We request you to strictly adhere to the date and venue as mentioned in this
communication. No change in the Interview date or venue will be permitted.

Essential Documents for attending the Group Task / Personal Interview:

Please bring along with you, the following documents (in Original & one xerox copy) for
verification at the time of the process :
1.Printed copy of Online 'Application Form for Employment', duly filled and submitted
online, together with 2 Passport size photographs, with a Passport size photograph
affixed on it and one additional Passport size Photograph. Link for accessing the
Online Application Form is given below.

2.Proof of Date of Birth. Age limit as mentioned in the advertisement

3.Academic Qualifications Final / Provisional Degree Certificate & All semester


marksheets towards proof of having passed the requisite Degree/Qualifying
Examination as mentioned in the advertisement with minimum of 60% Marks as
aggregate of all semesters (For PWD, SC/STs-minimum 50% Marks).

4. Wherever Class/Division is mentioned in CGPA/OGPA/Grade, Grade Conversion


letter from the Institute/University indicating the conversion formula applied for awarding
Class / Division.

5.Caste Certificate / PWD (Persons with Disability) Certificate issued by the Competent
Authorities as applicable for appointment to posts under Government of India (format
available on our website), in case you belong to SC/ST/OBC-NC*/PWD (OH / VH / HH)
category.
*Candidates belonging to OBC-NC category should be in possession of Caste
certificate valid as on the last date of application i.e. 10.02.2017.
OBC-NC candidates, in addition to Caste Certificate, are requested to bring duly filled
declaration in the prescribed format, available on our website

6.Relevant work experience documents of previous/past employers as mentioned in the


advertisement.

7.Documentary proof in case of candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between


01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989, and in case of Ex-servicemen availing relaxations under
the category

8. 'No Objection Certificate', from present Employer, in case working in State


Government / Quasi-Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Bodies.

You are required to produce documentary proof for all eligibility criteria mentioned in the
advertisement. In the event of failure to provide the requisite documents on the date of
the process, you will neither be allowed to appear for the Group Task/Personal
Interview nor reimbursed Travel Fare for attending the same.

Additional Information :

1.You may be required to stay for one or two days for undergoing the selection process.
You are therefore requested, to make your travel & stay arrangements accordingly.
Candidates will be sent for pre-employment medical examination after the interview, as
a part of selection process, to avoid inconvenience of repeat travel to the candidates. It
may please be noted that reference to pre-employment medical examination in no way
construes final selection or offer of employment.

2.The Final selection is subject to you being found Medically Fit and certified by our
Medical Advisor, Merit ranking, requirement of the Corporation and subject to fulfillment
of other eligibility criteria with regard to Academic Qualification, Age, Caste, (No
Objection Certificate, Relieving Letter, Relevant work Experience if applicable) etc.
3.You will be reimbursed Second Class (sleeper) to and fro Rail Fare (or Ordinary Bus
Fare) by shortest and direct route from your mailing address to the place of Interview
(venue) provided that the distance travelled is not less than 30 Kms, subject to
production of ticket or clear photo copy of the ticket(s) for travel (both ways) towards
proof of travel undertaken for attending the interview. You will be required to fill in the
Travel Allowance (TA) form (copy attached) as detailed on HPCL Website and submit it
along with Travel Proof of travel undertaken on the date of Process.

4.Please also note that while applying for above post, you have ensured that you fulfill
the eligibility and other norms mentioned in the Job Notification. And also the particulars
furnished are correct / complete in all respects. In case it is detected at any stage of
recruitment/selection that you do not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that you have
furnished any incorrect/false information or have suppressed any material fact(s), your
candidature will automatically stand cancelled. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is/are
detected even after appointment, your services are liable to be terminated without any
notice.

This communication is only an intimation to appear for the Group Task / Personal
Interview and should not be in anyway construed as an Offer of Appointment

Final Appointment shall be basis the vacancies and all India merit list.
