University.

LEARNING PROGRAM CONTENT:

At the end of this program the intern should be able to know more about:

Infection prevention control procedures
How to understand common surgical procedures
Pathophysiology of the presenting disease state
Common associated symptoms of the presenting condition.
Differential diagnosis of the presenting condition.
Treatment including medical and surgical alternatives.
Risk factors assessment.
Discharge including timing, patient education,followup and resumption of
activities.

TEACHING METHOD:

Demonstration and observation.
