1. Carefully read this manual and the instructions in the Owners Guide. The wearing and the
maintenance of new cars are to better prolong vehicle service life and to protect users lawful
rights and interests. Any improper operation or failure to perform scheduled maintenance
specified in this manual may cause serious damage to your vehicle and result in the invalidity of
some or all of your warranty coverage.

2. Chery Company has designated technical maintenance specifications for its vehicle products in
different phases, including Free Limited Maintenance for the First 5,000km. These
specifications are very important to the safe operation and continued good working condition of
your vehicle. Please follow these specifications carefully.

3. Only authorized Chery vehicle service stations are entitled to accept maintenance and quality
warranty claims during the warranty period.

4. When the mileage of your vehicle is between 5,000km and 6,000km, present this manual and the
First 5,000km Free Maintenance Card to the nearest authorized service station of our company
for the first free maintenance service.

5. Do not install unauthorized parts on Chery vehicles or refit the vehicles; otherwise your quality
warranty right will be invalidated.

6. For various configuration and optional parts reasons, it is possible that some items listed in
Service & Maintenance Manual do not apply to your car.

93# (RON) Unleaded gasoline only.
Do not remove the cap of the coolant
reservoir when the engine is hot, as the
cooling system is still in the state of high

understand and operate your new vehicle. It will also
enable you assert your rights and interests more
effectively.
Chery Windcloud sedan manufactured by Chery
Automobile Co., Ltd, has such favorable features as safety,
comfortability, powerfulness and economy. To ensure
optimum vehicle performance, it is essential for you to
have your car undergo COMPLETE maintenance as per
operation instruction and maintenance rules on schedule.
CASS will offer you best after-sales service with utmost
sincerity.

TO USER
DO USE engine oil, gasoline, brake fluid and antifreeze
recommended in this manual, otherwise damage may be
caused. Only original parts and material recommended by
CASS can prolong vehicle life. Please note: all these
original parts can be available only at CASS.
Please use and maintain your vehicle in line with the
maintenance requirements. If you use your car as a taxi,
you will enjoy a warranty period of 12 months or
100,000km, whichever comes first. In other cases, you
will enjoy a warranty period of 24 months or 60,000km,
whichever comes first. And cylinder block, cylinder head,
camshaft, crankshaft, main bearing cap, piston and
connecting rod is 36 months or 100,000kg, whichever
comes first. The vehicles warranty period begins from the
day you purchase it.

Data recorded in this manual will provide the Company
and its authorized service stations necessary information
related to the maintenance certificate issuing date, the
conditions of your vehicle as well as the warranty start
date.
Based on the above information, Chery and its authorized
service stations will provide you with spare parts, repair
and maintenance services that are most suitable to your
vehicle model.
In order to keep your vehicle in excellent operating
condition, please perform scheduled maintenance only in

the authorized service stations, where service advisors will
record and certify that your vehicle has received the
required maintenance. Once your vehicle breaks down,
this record will be an essential proof document in
processing your warranty claim.
For above reasons, please keep Maintenance & Service
Manual well. Should this manual get lost or scheduled
maintenance be not completed, it will be regarded as
renouncing your quality warranty right. If your

Spare parts warranty

a. For any spare part that is purchased and installed at

authorized service stations and provided by Chery
Company, the warranty period is 6 months or
20,000km, whichever occurs first, starting from the
day the part is purchased and installed. For the
damageable parts (such as front brake friction
linings, rear brake shoe, wiper blades, clutch
friction discs, spark plug, light bulb, horn, tire, air
filter, oil filter and fuel filter), the warranty period
is 3 months or 5,000km, whichever occurs first.
The warranty period starts from the day you
purchase the part.
