MEXICAN ILLEGALS IMMIGRANTS

This research is about Mexican immigrant status. Mexican makes the biggest majority of immigrants in

U.S, a half of the whole population of immigrants came from Mexico. President of the U.S; Mr. Trump,

wants banned Mexican illegals because overpopulation, crimes, low economy, and low jobs opportunity

for the citizens. Mr. Trump has the idea that make a wall at the southern boarder for reduce the number

of unauthorized immigrants in the us. I do not think making a wall is the solution because Mexican

immigration problem goes further of that.

In Obama administration, they deported a huge amount of immigrant illegal. People did not notice too

much Mexican deported because was a subtle sometime. A thousand of Mexican returned their country.

Approximal 242,546 Mexicans returned to Mexico. It happened in 2015. And also, more nonMexican

than Mexicans were apprehended at U.S borders in fiscal year.

Immigration population is a big issue. There were 11.7 million immigrants from Mexico living in the

United States In 2014. Mexicans is the countrys largest source of immigrants, making up 28% of all U.S.

immigrants and about a half living in the country illegally.

Another thing, Mexican illegal people living in the United States has declined in 2007, for example in

2014, 5.8 million unauthorized immigrants from Mexico lived in the United States, down from a pick of

6.9 million in 2007. Despite the drop, Mexicans still make up about half of the nations 11.1 million

unauthorized immigrants (52% in 2014)

Moreover, 200,00 Mexicans increased their number between 2006-2010 compared to the more than 2

million who arrived in the five years prior.

Now there are others countries like China and India that have more percentages of immigrants in this

country. So, it means that China and India overtook Mexico about their immigrants living in U.S. And it

says that Mexican no longer in the top of origin country among the most recent immigrants.

Another reason that Mexicans are returned their country is because the recession problem that is

suffered this country. The economic situation that this country are facing, is another reason that

immigrants undocumented are leaving U.S. For instance, weakened job opportunities in the United

States, tougher border enforcement, the long-term decline in Mexicos birth rate, and the improving

Mexican economy are most of the reasons.

United States is illegals peoples home from Mexico. Mexicans made their home at U.S, as of 2014,

78%had lived in the U.S. for 10 years or more, while only 7% had been in the country for less than five

years. By comparison, 52% of unauthorized immigrants from countries other than Mexico had lived in

the U.S. for at least as decade as of 2014, while 22% had lived in the U.S. for less than five years.

Unauthorized immigrants from Mexico make up at least 75% of total of unauthorized immigrant

population in three states. In New Mexico 91%, Idaho 87%, and Arizona 81%. California has the highest

population of Mexican undocumented in all the country (71%) more than 1.6 million in 2014.

By the way, most Mexican immigrants who obtain lawful permanent residence in the United States

qualify immediately to obtain U.S, citizenship.

In addition, Mexican people are known for their limited English proficient, have less education and lower

income in comparison the overall foreign and U.S, born population. The Mexican income annually was

$37,390, compared to%49,487 and % 54,565 for the immigrant and native-born populations. Mexican
immigration experience a higher poverty rate, and lack health insurance. The Mexican immigrant

population is younger to the comparison to the total foreign-born population but older than natives

born populations.

According to the article, it mention about DACA program, Mexico has the opportunity of benefits to

their kids with the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which provides temporary deportation

relief and work authorization. DACA applies for immigrant illegal families, what nice is these programs

but I heard that President Trump wants annulated DACA. So, it means that poor Mexican undocumented

people could no longer go to school. The program started in August 15, and the end of FY 2015o

september30, 2015,

This research is very educational for me because I learn more about Mexican immigration.

The Mexican diaspora population in the United States is approximately 35.4 million individuals who

were either born in Mexico or reported Mexican ancestry or Hispanic origin, according to tabulations

from the U.S. census Bureau pooled.

So, with all this information that I got, looks like Mexican people has the majority number a comparison

others foreign immigrants in the U.S, but in other hands another articles what I read say that Mexico are

no longer that vast majority in the United States because China and India are having more population. I

gaining a lot information in this controversial topic. These are sad times for illegals Mexican are dealing

with.

Mexican still make up the largest group of unauthorized immigrants, to this day, doing my research on

this topic I found an article on Jeffrey Passel a demographer, he wrote a report Passels say, the number

of Mexicans entering the U.S. illegal would up when the U.S illegal would up when the U.S, economy was

strong.
Also, another thing he talks about is how starting in 2009 the number of Mexicans has continued to fall

to the unemployment in the U.S has continued to improve Passel says he does not expect migration

from Mexico to pick up in the years ahead.

A lot of Mexicans unauthorized migrations was related to family and friendship linkages between people

in Mexico.

Now going to my topic, I wrote on my poster I will be explaining the problem - solution and also, they

will be talking about the opinions on what should be done and what should be not, some of the problem

are that we are having over populations and the violence are at higher rate. How I think we could fix

this, is by putting an amount on the people that live here and what that correct percentage would be for

the United States maybe that would help some be here and some not just depending also in the

situation they are facing.

But I know that there is a lot of other solutions to this and ways to fix everting its a very tough question

on what kind of measures should be taking.

Facts: Mexican unauthorized immigrants are more likely to be the long-term residents of the United

States. For 10 years while only seven percent had been in the country for less than five years. In

conclusion, I think Mexican are worker people and they want to have an opportunity to a better life for

their families. Is noticeable that overpopulation is the problem for the U.S.

I can see families destroy because of their illegal status, the kids are the victims also because their

parents are deported. Overall, this problem is a sad for me, and what odisea Mexican are struggling.
Unfortunately, what the most suffer in this situation are their kids. I hope soon United States, can fix

this matter.

I interview to Samantha Bessone, she works in an immigration office and what she say, is that Mexican

Illegal people is a huge issue. Even for Trump administration, she said. And also, she replied that in

Obama Administration he promises fix that problem but He did not do anything. Just what He did is

open doors to refugees and they put more focus in other stuffs like LGBT communities, etc. to her a lot

of problem is because overpopulation and that there is a lot of gangs, violence, abusing, rape, etc. She

was agree with me, when I say, that they should be to do their job in the past when Obama

administration because that issue was one of the problems, that He promise to do when he was elected,

that is why a lot people voted for him, specially L.G.B.T and many evangelistic Christians church and l

Baptist. But, now with this president, a lot of people are not agree with him because his administration

are deporting many people and cutting many programs. Moreover, People think that the economy of

U.S, is strong because thanks to Mexican immigration. And people think that president Trump is racist

person that discriminate all Mexicans, LGBT, transgender, and all immigrants in genera even refugees.

So, yeah this is a controversial issue. Micro immigration and segregation are common today in Mexicans.

In other words, I think People are going crazy sometime, though because of that. President Trump

promise fix this issue and what he wants to do is to check those Mexicans undocumented that have bad

criminals records. And then deportation for them and also President Trump say that new babies that

born in U.S, with illegals parents they will not be recognize like Americans citizens. And also, he said that

the illegals Mexicans families that are receiving social welfare like food stamps and Medicare etc., it will

be cut by his administration because of Unites States economy. He promises that he is going to do

America strong again.
