Lead QA Engineer

Lightweight, waterproof, and compact, Lily Camera is the world's first throw and shoot flying
camera drone that seamlessly and automatically follows your every move. Hired to
implement and supervise a 5-person QA team from scratch. Built the entire full-functionality
testing program from the ground up, and through rigorous test case creation and execution
successfully led my team to a recent Beta launch of the product.

Fitbit San Francisco, CA (January 2016-April 2016)

Firmware QA Engineer

Contracted to assist in the implementation of Firmware QA efforts of one of Fitbits most


sought after unreleased products. Led the daily and weekly testing modules, performed
cross-unit comparison testing, defined test spec and processes, and participated in devising
the overall scope and direction of the project.

Planned and executed all aspects of the testing phase, monitoring and maintaining
compliance with tight budget and time requirements, and managed these efforts and a team
of on-site and overseas QA Team members in the US and Korea.
Participated hands-on in multiple releases of several very distinct categories of projects:
Equil Smart Pens, Web Collaboration Tools and Smart Whiteboard Capture software.

Ensured proper communication and functionality between the Equil SmartPen firmware and
physical interface and its corresponding mobile software application.

Tested rigorously with SmartMarker Engineers and Firmware Developers to establish a


solid wireless pairing between the pen, receiver, and desktop software.

QA Engineer May 2013 November 2014

A Quality Assurance Test Engineer responsible for developing and documenting new
procedures for the QA process and best practice documents. Wrote functional test cases to
reflect changes in the application's UI, specs, and requirements.

Teamed with Product Managers to continuously evaluate performance, identify/implement


testing solutions, and detect critical defects during early development processes.

Conducted functional acceptance testing of our eBeam Edge and Engage hardware and
firmware, including:
-Establishing solid Bluetooth 2.0 and 3.0 connections and verifying range.
-Verifying proper mapping of all the physical buttons on the devices.
-Ensuring strong Ultrasonic communication between the receiver and the stylus.
