12 - What did the instructor do that was most helpful to my learning in this course?

Dr. B opened my eyes to a lot of different issues that we all deal with in everyday society, helping me to understand our social lives and the demographics of today.

He made class fun and involved the students a lot so we could really understand the content.
He seemed like he knew the topics very well and he seemed very passionate about the subject. If a teacher is passionate it makes the class a lot more interesting. Definitely would love to take more
of Dr. B's classes.
He was a awesome teacher. Best teacher i have had yet. Learned alot
I feel that Samuel did a wonderful job using the technology at his finger tips. He used YouTube videos that will stick with me forever, also I am thankful for the video he shared with the class, you
know, I would never think that the title you have would dictate the person you could turn into. When I started this class the only example I could think of in society, currently, was black lives matter, I
would of never realized that the people around me shape who I am, How a well written paper can be socially twisted into something normal, Acirema. He used papers, the book, the internet, test quiz.
This has been my favorite class that I have taken so far and I believe that is because I had a wonderful teacher. He made the class a choice to come to class or not and with all the family issues I've
had over the last year this was wonderful. Thank you so much! Also I loved that he gave us the choice to share storied for our own lives if was fun getting to know my class mates.
I think the most helpful thing he did was he made the classroom flexible, i liked how he made it more of a online class and if you need help or wanted to still come to class you still could. Loved the
flexibility.
Was always upbeat and ready for class, had sufficient knowledge to be able to engage students beyond just the textbook

13 - What reasonable suggestions for improvement do you have?

Dr. B has a wonderful gift in teaching sociology, I would say that his style of teaching is more profound than a lot of the other instructors that I've had in life, and to the point. As far as suggestions I
don't have any.

14 - What course(s) would you like to see offered during Summer?

I do not know what classes are not offered during summer.

The course scheduling know as we speak I think is sufficient for those students that are taking summer courses not overloading their lives, although made be core courses, such as Autocad 2 for
Architectural Design if offered would have been something to my interest if available during the summer schedule.

15 - Why did you choose to take a Summer course?

Basically to speed up the process of getting into my core classes and getting my degree.
I took a year off between high school and college and I honestly was just excited to go back to school and did not want to wait until the fall.
I was forced to take it by NTC. Don't get me wrong, he's a good teacher and he knows his stuff, but I still feel like it was a money grab by the college. On the plus side, it wasn't as bad as psychology.
So I can get done with my general classes.
To become a bit more familiar with my up coming fall term, and prepare my self from being overwhelmed off the fact of being in school again.
To finish my general classes before I started my program classes.
To get done with my pre-classes faster.
To get more generals out of the way to not have to take during core classes
