Garden to Gourmet: Whim Dinner Series Brings Gaslight Lynnfield to

Smolak Farms
Unique Farm-To-Table Experience with Five-Course Dinner Featuring Ingredients from Smolak Farms

WHAT: On Wednesday, June 28th 2017, Gaslight Brasserie in Lynnfield will partner with Smolak
Farms for its popular pop-up summer dining experience, Whim 2017 Dinner Series is
a unique farm-to-table dining experience held at Smolaks rustic farm featuring New
Englands finest chefs as they cook multi-course dinners in the field. Chef de Cuisine
Steven Morlino of Gaslight Lynnfield will prepare a five-course meal using Smolaks
freshest, seasonal produce and ingredients. A portion of the proceeds will go towards
Autism Speaks, which promotes solutions, for the needs of individuals with autism and
their families through advocacy and support.

Guests will begin their meal with Jamn Serrano with Smolak raspberry jam, radish,
queso mahn and port syrup, followed by a Smolak Romaine Wedge served with Great
Hill blue dressing, tomato, cucumber, pickled onion and crumbled bacon. For entrees,
enjoy Rare Grilled Rosemary Tuna with Smolak ratatouille provenal and summer basil
pistou, followed by Brandt All Natural Sirloin, served with pan roasted potatoes, creamy
corn, chimichurri and port. The evening concludes with Chef Morlinos Raspberry Cake
made with Smolak berries, lemon cake and Chantilly Cream.

Matthew Burns, a native of Boston, met Seth Woods at Armani Caf on Bostons Newbury Street where Burns was general manager and Woods
was the acting chef. In 2000, Burns teamed up with Woods to open a second Aquitaine location in Chestnut Hill. According to Burns a seamless
combination of warm, skilled service, delicious food all in a comfortable yet interesting ambiance is what makes a great and successful
restaurant.

Jeffrey Gates joined the Aquitaine Group a few years later and in 2003, Gates was instrumental in opening Union Bar and Grille and later
Gaslight Brasserie du coin, both in the South End. Recognized for his consummate professionalism, extensive wine knowledge, methodical and
meticulous approach to business, Gates brings a wealth of experience and an unprecedented understanding of the Boston restaurant scene to
the Aquitaine Group.
