The University provides many services to the community. The university educates students,
creates sense of community, provides a platform for research and allows for the expression and
evolution of ideas. A university serves two customers. The first customer is the student who
seeks knowledge and skill for future employment and personal growth. The second customer is
the end consumer, businesses, of their product, graduates. Universities can build their demand
to students by building their demand by employers for their graduates. This site looks at a few
ways that the institution of universities introduce pragmatic tools and understanding to build their
community which attracts students and their output of graduates which attracts employers and
therefore students.
An accessible and affordable quality education that equips students with intellectual and professional
skills, ethical principles, and an international perspective.
A strong foundation in liberal arts and opportunities for experiential education to enhance students
personal and professional growth.
A robust intellectual environment that values social and cultural diversity, free expression, collegiality,
integrity, and mutual respect.
A safe, diverse, team-oriented, ethically responsible, and respectful workplace environment that
develops the professional capacities of our faculty and staff.
A community by definition is a group of people living in the same place or having a particular
characteristic in common. Any community is never static but the opposite because it is always
moving evolving and changing and thats exactly the case with any college community. A
college community does have its traditions and ideas which vary from university to university..
For students this is a time for promoting changes in thinking about beliefs and gaining
knowledge. Like personal beliefs about the nature of knowing is important in a college
community. With my topic change in beliefs and first year students being very open and
influential is very good to spread the idea of feminism and gain more supporters.
In college community athletes help out schools in so many ways, athletes generate more
attention to schools that people don't pay attention too. While students are in the hunt for looking
for a college home for the next four years they don't really look at the academic aspect of it, but
sports. For example, think of a big school like Alabama they are known for football. When
students look at those type of schools they thought process goes towards having fun, that's why
alabama generates more students in the college institution.
