MY ANALYSIS

1. How did the classroom organization and routines affect the learners behavior?

Through classroom organization and routines, pupils are always active to the discussion. The
teacher is always organized and prepared the lesson plan for the sake of their students. Teacher
make an interesting objectives to have a good flow discussion and interesting and conducive
learning and discussion, in that way the student will motivate to learn and they always participate
in the class.

2. What should the teacher have in mind when he/she designs the classroom organization and
routines? What theories and principles should you have in mind?

The designing of classroom organization and routines that the teacher needs are; classroom that
well organized to avoid the distruction of the learners and they become comfortable, effective and
interesting to have good flow discussion, routines that would affect the students behavior and
learning. I think the best theory is cognitive development; this theory will help to teacher to
develop children to have a conducive learning. This theory said children can be thought of as little
scientist who actvely construct their knowledge and understand the world.

3. Which behavior strategies were effective in managing the behavior of the learners? In motivating
students? Why were they effective?

The strategies those are effective in managing a behavior of the learners is giving them appositive
feedback and rewards if they are doing well in the class. In that way the student will be motivated
to achieve a high grades and also they always participating in the class to have a reward from the
teacher. It is effective because as a pupil they like commendation and praises. It is effective in
motivating the student because in my observation in teaching, children want internal rewards like
praises and positive feedback.
MY REFLECTIONS

1. Imagine yourself organizing your classroom in the future. In what grade/year level do you see yourself?
What routines and procedures would you consider for this level? Why?

As a BEED (bachelor of elementary education) student, I will choose the grade one level because I
like to teach begginer student, I like to be part of their starts in grade school. I will make routines
that fit to their own intelligences, to develop this. I will make procedures that will make the
classroom organized and conducive to learning, objectives that will help them to develop their
intelligences. In that way the student will motivated to learn, because they happy in what they do
and comfortable to the routines and procedures that I have to do.

2. Make a list of the rules are likely to implement in this level. Why would you choose these rules?

The following rules are:

-Always maintain the cleanliness of the classroom.

-Always wear proper uniform.

-Always come early, late comers should not be tolerated.

-Always pay attention if the teacher talking at the front.

-Ask permission before leaving the classroom.

I choosed these rules because when I observed, I noticed that some of these rules are infringes of
the students. I will make the student responsible and diciplined themselves for their own good
when they start highschool and college.

3. Should learners be involved in making the class rules? Why?

Ofcourse yes, because if they are not followed the rule their grade will possible to low because of
their behavior and no student want a low grade and negative feedback from the teacher. If is not
followed
My portfolio

Include here pictures of the classrooms you observed. Write description/annotations about what you
observed in each photos.

This is classroom of grade IV under the advisory of

sir. John Mark Torreliza in Colegio De San Sebastian

that I' observed.

There are specific areas of the classroom like

Teachers table, comfort room, informational area

wherein the informational bulletin boards are here.

This is the seating arrangement of the children.

They are comfortable.

OBSERVTIONAL REPORT

Name of the school Observed: COLEGIO DE SAN SEBASTIAN

School address: DANGEROS ST.SABLAYAN OCC. MINDORO

Date of Visit: FEB. 03, 2017

I observed in Colegio De San Sebastian in IV, under the advisory of sir. John Mark
Torreliza, there are 20 pupils, 8 boys and 12 girls. Since they are in private school, their classroom
is nice and they are comfortable and secured inside the classroom. Each of them is wearing
proper uniform. Their seating arrangement does not affect their learning. The specific areas in the
classroom are arraged. Generally the classroom is clean, lighted and well ventilated.

When I started to observed, I noticed that the teacher is ready to teach, because their are
some materials and visuals that the teacher prepared in their teaching. The teacher called the
attention of her students, he tell that have an observer today, and the pupils looked at us. There
are students says hi and student no reaction. The class will started, I noticed that the pupils are
so energetic, they always have a questions to the teacher, specialy in science subject. It is proved
that children is "little scientist. Children attention is easy to catch and also easy to distruct. There
are different kinds of students in classroom, there are always raise their hand when the teacher
have a queations, students have no interest, student always showy, students that quite but he or
she always excel in class, and students that have own world, they have own business. I notced
when the teacher is not strict to their student they will not scared to teacher. If the teacher is
always kind he or she cannot handle his or her students. You need to strict but not too much to
have trust to you of your student. As teacher you must have a long patience to your student.

Children think differently than adults, they active in gaining knowledge of the world and
also they construct their own knowledge and understanding of the world. For me children is easy
to learn and to teach them is easy. You need to know the childrens nature to to have knowledge
why they have playful mind.
My Analysis

1. Identify the persons who play key roles in the relationships and interactions in the classroom. What
roles do they play? Is there somebody who appears to be the leader, a mascot/joker, an attention seeker,
a little teacher, a doubter, a pessimist?

In the classroom, pupils have a different behavior, talents and abilities. There are pupils always
have attention and relation to the teacher, student that always want being a leader in activity and
other task that the teacher gives, student always joker that makes his or her classmate laugh, an
attention seeker he and she always showy to teacher and to his or her classmate, there are little
teacher she always teached their classmate when it is wrong, and also there are students who
always disagree to the suggestions of their classmate in group activity, student has no
confidence and also students that have own business.

2 Are students coming from the minority group accepted or rejected by the others? How is this shown?

NONE.

3. How does the teacher influence the class interaction considering the individual differences of the
students?

In making an activity or group activity that have a sharing of an idea about the topic, in that way
the student know their differences in thinking. Make a group activity that the learners share their
personal experiences, in that way the student know the similarities of them. When the teacher ask
some quetions about likes and dislikes of their each student, in that way the student have an idea
about their classmates.

4. What factors influence the grouping of learners outside the classroom?

The student that influence the grouping of the learners outside the classroom are how being they
adopt to their invironment, their relation to the other people, how they solved a different problems
that they have, how they learn in their community and also their social status.
My Reflections

1. How did you feel being in that classroom? Did you feel a sense of oneness or unity among the learners
and between the teacher and the learners?

I feel special in the classroom, because when we entered all students are behaved. I feel glad and
comfortable in observing the classroom, teachers and student. After an hours the behave pupils
become noise and have their own business, but when the teacher has a large tone the pupils back
in behave and their attention to the teacher. I say that theres a sense of oneness or unity among
learners and teacher, because the pupils always participate in the class because the teacher have
technique to catch the attention of the learners.

2. In the future, how would you want the learners in the classroom to interact? How will you make this
happen?

In the future teacher, I want my learners became a motivated and active to learn. I want we feel
that no discrimination to them and also no favoritism. In that way my studens will develop their
self-confidence. I will help them to have a concrete motivation and I always tell them the important
of education in their life. Also as a teacher I will do my obligation not only being a teacher of them
bu also second parent of them.
My Portfolio

Post a collection of quotations advocating for celebrating diversity in the classroom. Using these
quotations, explain how you will encourage all learners, regardless of religions, ethnic or racial
background to interact and participate well?

"THE INFLUENCE OF A GOOD TEACHER CAN NEVER BE ERASED"

Being a good teacher to your students and doing your responsibility as teacher, not only because
you are a teacher just because you have a passion in teaching and you are happy when you teach.
It is enough to encourage all learners to interact and participate to your discussion weather they
are different culture and belief because they know that they learn a lot from you. You are a good
teacher and you are model to them.

"EACH CHILD IS UNIQUE NOT ONLY CAPABLE OF LEARNING BUT ALSO CAPABLE OF SUCEEDING"

As a teacher you need to know the uniqueness of your student, to have an idea to motivate them
to interact and participate in class. Also you need to know the religions, cultures and social
background of your student to know what the best way of teaching that you apply in the class.

"IN THE CLASSROOM EVERY ONE IS A STUDENT EVERY ONE IS A TEACHER"

As a teacher don't strict to much, because the student will decrease a self confidence to
participate in your class. You need to feel them that you are also learner and being a learner you
hate strict teacher. Don't discriminate your student. Always careful and have long patient in
teaching because you don't know the culture and beliefs of your student, teach only the subject
that you had. Teacher is also learner he or she needs to learn from your student in their
differences to make an motivation that not affect their cultures and belief.
