Function of Floating Deck with seal.

1. Commonly floating deck is to store petroleum

products with high volatility. Meanwhile water
is not volatile fluid. And not vaporize under
design condition.
2. Minimize the loss of the stored liquid product
inside the tank due to evaporation by
eliminate the free space above the stored

liquid. Demin water is not vaporize at atm
pressure in conjuction with design
temperature.
3. Minimize the fire hazard by decreasing the
volatile gases inside the tank. Meanwhile
water vapor cannot trigger fire hazard.

With above tehnical justification Bidder justify that

floating deck not required.
