used another brake type friction equipment before using this app.

1. Speed up to at least 50 km/h. Current speed is shown at left. It is not possible to start a
survey below 50 km/h.
2. When speed is above 50 km/h the big button change to green and you can start a survey.

6. Press the record button to stop recording (when recording the button is red).
7. The result is given as an estimated .
8. A GPS-photo will be captured of the survey spot, so make sure phone is mounted so the lens
capture the road. Photo function can be enabled/disabled in settings.
9. Transfer the survey with the upload button. Only when upload button is green it is possible
to make upload. When upload button is yellow it is not possible to use. You cannot start a
new survey before an upload is made. Photos is uploaded separately via Manage uploads.
10. When upload button is pressed you can choose to send/save the survey or delete it.

The brake friction survey is designed to get a quick and simple result on winter roads, with snow/ice
conditions. Many factors affect the result as with other brake friction tests. Expect 7-8 successful
results of 10 trails. The sensitivity is possible to adjust under settings (hamburger button) and it
should be adjusted to a known friction reference.

Black <0,2 Red = 0,2-0,3 Yellow = 0,3-0,4 Green > 0,4

Friction surveys are stored as a Road Event, so you need a Road Event Manager access to view the
result with the photo and also to generate a report/list of several surveys for a period.

Photo and Video vibration survey

Photo and video surveys are very similar.

The top bar shows if GPS is connected, time, free memory on unit, vertical angle of phone, heading in
degrees, eIRI, cIRI, Speed and Distance surveyed.

If you press photo/video icon button, technical data about the camera is shownshow. The info
button shows current survey info. The bar with colored squares indicated roughness levels.

Press the round green record button to start a survey and press same button (red while recording) to
end the survey. You can enter an optional comment or road id when starting survey and decide if you
want to save the survey when stopping.

Set auto photo capture section length in settings. Photos can be captured by length or time interval -
or not at all. Phots are also taken while touching the colored square bar.
