SUBJECT : Contributions of Advisory Council to the PNP for the


month of May June 2017

DATE : July 25, 2017

1. Reference:
a. Memo from ADRDA dated January 12, 2016; and
b. Memo from Chairman, TWG for PPP 2030 dated January 8,
2016with the same subject above.

2. In line with the aim of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan to strengthen its ties
and further enhance stakeholder support, the validation on the various contributions
of Advisory Councils are deemed essential in providing context to the many
significant accomplishments, initiatives and breakthrough results attained by the
PNP offices, units in their continuing implementation of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan
2030.

3. The contributions shall be categorized as follows:

a. Strategic or Operational Information Insight and Guidance


This include (but is not limited) the following:

1. Significant suggestion and recommendations on improving


the scorecard/dashboard, measures/performance indicators,
and, initiatives of the PNP;
2. Suggestions and recommendations on improving the
administrative and operational processes of the PNP; and
3. Sharing of information/observations that contributed to law
enforcement, crime prevention, crime investigation and
public safety efforts of the PNP.
b. Advocacy in Support of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L.Plan 2030
This include (but is not limited) the following:
1. Active promotion/endorsement of the accomplishments
and achievements of the PNP through various media;
2. Active participation in the crime prevention, crime
solution, public safety and community relations activities
of the PNP; and
3. Active participation in other activities of the PNP relevant
to the implementation of the organizational strategy.

c. Capacity Building through Knowledge Sharing, Learning


and Growth this include (but is not limited to) competency
enhancement of the PNP personnel through the sharing of
knowledge and expertise(ex. Conduct of trainings, lectures,
courses, seminars, et al) by the Advisory Council members or
their network institutions/organizations.

d. Morale and Welfare Improvement this include (but is not


limited to) the provision of scholarships and health benefits to
PNP dependents, financial/relief assistance during tragedies
and times of crisis among others.

e. Capability Enhancement through Provision of Additional


Logistical Resources/Facilitating of Major Projects this
includes (but not limited to) the following;

1. Donation of supplies/equipment, additional transportation


units;
2. Construction of new buildings/facilities; and
3. Improvement/renovation of existing infrastructures.

f. Provision of Additional Financial Resources for the


Implementation of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 this
pertains to financial/monetary donations and fund raising to the
PNP office/unit by the Advisory Council members or through
their initiatives for the attainment of the following purposes:

1. In support of the Crime Prevention, Crime Solution, Public


Safety and Community Relations efforts of the PNP;
2. Advocacy in support of the Organizational Strategy;
3. Capacity Building through Knowledge Sharing, Learning ad
Growth;
4. Morale and Welfare Improvement;
5. Capability Enhancement through the Acquisition of Additional
Logistical Resources and;
6. Other purposes beneficial to the PNP and its Stakeholders.

4. In this regard, to accelerate the consolidation and evaluation of all


compliances by Regional Police Strategy Management Unit (RPSMU), please submit
to PPSMU (or via email at misor.ppsmu@gmail.com) your Municipal/City Advisory
Council contributions for the month of May June 2017 using the matrix herein
provided. Also include resolutions (if any) and After Activity Reports to the conduct of
activities in partnership with your Advisory Councils.
