I worked as a French Educator at one of the elite government secondary schools, for the age group of 13-
18 years old students. The school follows the Cambridge International Examinations Syndicate. In my
educational career I prepared students for French GCE Ordinary and GCE Advanced level. I have taught
French grammar and literature. In Mauritius, French language is taught as a First language.
Main Achievements;
A. Selected among the pioneering group to launch and implement the Project Citizen which was
organized by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development Commission -
Mauritius, in collaboration with the Center for Civic Education- USA.
B. Selected to coach, patronage and accompany the winning team representing Mauritius for the
Regional African finals of Project Citizen Senegal , Aug 2006.
C. Appointed in 2007 as a National Trainer for the teachers training workshops on Project Citizen-
the youngest trainer since the program introduced in Mauritius.
D. Initiating and supervising the Book club at the Vacoas S.S. School and the Reading Awareness
Week.
E. Active participation in several extra-curricular activities and clubs; UNESCO Club,
Environmental clubs, French Drama club and the School Magazine.
