o Responsibilities included: teaching in a self-contained classroom teaching all subjects, creating
differentiated lesson plans for all subjects based on the Common Core State Standards and Curriculum
Map and Pacing Guide, including lesson and activities from resources such as Brain Pop and the online

departmentalized setting, developing Mathematics and Science 21 st century innovative differentiated

o Responsibilities included teaching Basic Skills mathematics in the 5th and 6th grade in both a pull out
and push in setting, developing differentiated lessons for the various styles of learning for all of the
students served. In addition, served as a Title I Parent Involvement Activities Facilitator and on the
Parent Advisory Facilitator for several years within this program we brought parents and children
together to create and develop STREAM activities that encouraged parent involvement 21 st century
learning.
- Additional Training Includes: Fountas and Pinnell, Achieve 3000, and Learning A-Z. Serving as a pilot teacher
for the towns newest mathematics program as well as working on a team designing the Mathematics
Curriculum.
