TWO PINCKNEY HUGO GROUP EMPLOYEES NAMED

40 UNDER FORTY HONOREES
SYRACUSE, N.Y. Christine Durnin, director of digital marketing, and Maddie
Halstead, an account manager, at Pinckney Hugo Group, have been named to
BizEventzs 2017 40 Under FORTY list of honorees. Durnin and Halstead will be
recognized at the 20th annual 40 Under FORTY Celebration & Awards Program, at the
SRC Arena & Events Center on Nov. 16.

Each year, 40 young professionals under the age of 40 in the Central New York region
are recognized for excelling in the workplace and giving back to their community.
Winners were chosen by a panel of independent judges that included community leaders
and past recipients of the award.

As director of digital marketing at Pinckney Hugo Group, Durnin is responsible for

recommending, planning and executing digital marketing strategies and tactics for
agency clients, developing and maintaining successful online advertising campaigns,
and overseeing the digital media buying process. She is a Google Qualified Individual
with certifications in Google AdWords, Google Analytics IQ and Mobile Advertising. She
has a bachelors degree in marketing from the Mario J. Gabelli School of Business at
Roger Williams University. Durnin leads Pinckney Hugo Groups volunteer committee,
which identifies and supports causes important to agency employees. Under her
leadership, the agency has raised money or volunteered for local organizations such as
the CNY Diaper Bank, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York, OCRRA, Ronald
McDonald House Charities of Central New York, the Samaritan Center, and St.
Baldricks Foundation. Durnin serves on the board of directors of the CNY Diaper Bank
and is an alumna fraternal advisor for the Nu Sigma chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, a co-ed
professional business fraternity at Roger Williams University.

As an account manager, Halstead interacts with agency clients, helping them plan and
execute marketing strategies and tactics. She has a bachelors degree from The College
of Wooster in Ohio. At Pinckney Hugo Group, Halstead leads the agencys wellness
committee, which promotes health and wellness initiatives. She is also a member of the
social committee, which organizes events to encourage collaboration and team building
among employees. Halstead is a member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central
New Yorks Young Professionals Advisory Committee and is on the board of directors for
the Syracuse City Ballet.
