- Description of need
- Solution to a problem
Is the proposed product marketable/sellable?
- Initial Survey Results (with respondents profile sample size of at least 50)
- Demographics of Potential Users/Buyers profile, characteristics, buying behavior, etc.
- Primary and Secondary Market Segment(s) must be measurable, accessible, substantial,
differentiable and actionable
- Estimated Target Market Segment Size (in terms of number of buyers and/or Peso amount)

APPROACH
Product Concept (or Product Idea on how the solution will be delivered)
- Must be a discrete engineered product with social benefit and technopreneurship appeal
- Discuss main features of the proposed product (power supply, physical characteristics like weight &
size, and performance targets, if possible)
- Highlight differences from existing designs (innovation, new features, uniqueness, etc)
Product Realization (Provide a Schematic of Proposed Product)
- A brief description must be given on how the proposed product will look like and will perform/work
- Sketch the proposed product to illustrate how the product will look like
- Show, if possible, the platform, modules & functionalities to visualize how the product will perform
- Explain how the product will be produced/manufactured/assembled in general terms

BENEFIT/S
- State a value proposition (explain what core benefits the target customer will get vis-a-vis an indication
of a price or a price range indication of the proposed product)
- Must answer the question, Why the product should be bought? or What value will the customer
gain?

COMPETITION
- Discuss existing and similar products/brands that provide the same benefit.
- Explain and highlight: How is the proposed product different? Show pictures and sketches.
- Tabulate a comparison of features, prices, advantages/disadvantages of existing brands versus
proposed product.
- Must explain how proposed product can get the attention of would-be customers. Provide a rationale,
Why will target customers buy the new product or shift to using your proposed product?
- Confirm that there will be no Patent Infringement if product idea is pursued
