Part I - Viridian Coast (Levels 1-20)

Levels 1-3 - Heaven's Reach

Level 1
When you first spawn in, you'll be talking to Jinyung. Press "f" to go through the dialogue and reach the
main world.

You will then need to pick up your uniform on that table. Walk over to it (WASD or arrow keys) and
press "f" to take it.
Press "i" to open up your inventory, and then right click on your uniform to equip it.

Spreak with Jinyung again (press "f" to interact), and then move to the next door over.
Head inside and press "f" on the bed to wake up Gilhong. Speak with him to turn in "Awakenings."

Head towards the entrance to speak with Jinyung (and notice Hajoon who also woke up. Q_Q) to turn in
"Morning Time at Heaven's Reach."
Follow Jinyung to the center of the island and speak with Yungmuk to update the quest. Here, you will
learn how to windwalk. Press forwards twice to sprint, or move forwards pressing "shift." Head west to
the overlook.

At the top, you'll get a cutscene. Speak with Lusung to turn in "Looking for Lusung."
From here we can start gliding. Sprint and then jump (space) off the cliff. Press space again in midair to
glide and get to the Master's Quarters.

Head up the hill to get to our first swirly gate. If you are levelling with someone, take care to notice the
colors. Black means you will all spawn into the same instance, greenish white means that it is solo. There
are also instance entrances later, which are green for easy, blue for middle difficulty, purple for difficult.
Inside, interact with the bookshelf to obtain the marshal tome. Press "k" to open it and update the
quest.

Press "esc" to get out of it, and then speak with Master Hong to turn in "Master Hong's Summons" (for
all classes outside of summoner). If you are a summoner, head outside, and choose a cat, giving it a
name. Speak with Master Hong then to turn in your quest.
Head east to the Duel Hall and speak with Yongmuk to update your quest and receive a weapon. Press
"i" to open your inventory and right click your weapon to equip it.

Speak with him again to turn in "Disciple of the Hongmoon School", and then follow him deeper into the
hall.
At this point, we'll fight some training dummies. These dummies and how to kill them vary by class, so
follow the on screen instructions.

You'll then receive a letter. Press and hold alt to bright up the cursor, and then left click on the letter to
read it and update the quest. Then speak with Yungmuk again to reach level 2.

Level 2
Make your way southeast to the Proving Grounds, and head through the swirly gate.
Inside you will find 4 Cavern Training Dummies. Kill them however you want.

Then a Masked Warrior will appear. Hit him and he will oneshot you. At this point, you can either press
"1" and have him berate you, or crawl (use movement keys) outside of the circle and then press "1".
Either way, you'll resurrect.
Press "8" to use a healing tonic (after this quest it will always be 6), and then speak with Lusung to turn
in "The Proving Grounds" and reach level 3.

Head back outside through the swirly gate, and run past Lusung getting attacked. You'll get a small
cutscene. Afterwards, you need to kill 4 fiends by any method you choose. The sort of just hit you,
nothing crazy.

After all 4 are dead, you'll get a long cutscene and teleported out of the tutorial area to Viridian Coast.
Levels 3-10 - Everdusk
Level 3
When you spawn in, you'll talk to Namsoyoo. Head outside through the swirly gate and speak with Ko
Suljun.

He'll give you a crate. Run south to Gungwon to turn in "From the Water."
Head south to Dochun to update the quest, and then kill 2 Elite Guards on the beach. You don't actually
have to kill them - just hit them before any other player does and let the guards kill them.

Continue south on the beach and pick up an unconscious guard.

Return north to Gwak Jun. Then head into the healing house behind him again.

When you first enter, Namsoyoo will be alone. Wait for Dochun to run inside, and then turn in "Captain
Dochun" to him.
Head outside and speak with Ko Suljun again to update "Dodan the Hero". Head back south onto the
beach and head west. Kill a Coastal Grunt. He will drop a bag. Press "f" to loot it (this is the general way
to loot mobs).

Continue to follow the beach west through a swirly gate. Inside, speak to Chengun.
After updating, kill two rookies across from him and the lookout in front of the cage. Then open the gate
(press "f") and speak with Dodan.

Continue west to the cannon. You may notice I have a bomb. This is a low chance drop from mobs. You
just press the left mouse button to throw it, and it will oneshot most mobs of the same level. Consider it
a "get out of a grind free" card.
Captain Gwon will spawn on the dock. Kill him and then speak with Dodan again.

We're now going to windwalk for the first time. Press "m" to open the map, and then click on the candle
looking green icon at Bamboo Village. You will scream "Yoma~" and then teleport there. From this point
on, windwalking shall be called "Yomaing".
At the village, speak with Chengun. Then run west through a swirly gat to Dochun's House.

Turn in "Dodan the hero" to receive your Hongmoon weapon. This will be your weapon for the rest of
the game. Open your inventory and equip it by right clicking on it.

Then speak with Namsoyoo who is walking slowly through the door.
She'll give you a soul shield. Right click it in your inventory to equip it.

Speak with her again to turn in "The Bamboo Blossom" and reach level 4.
Level 4
Head across the street to the Mayor's house and speak with Daygu inside.

Head outside and speak with Wubaiku to pick up "Soup Her Man" and "Positive Reinforcement." Open
your inventory, and select the tool on the bottom left side. This brings up the reinforcement ui. Right
click the elements you have, and then press "Evolve" to strengthen your weapon.

A word about elements - If you have an element of training or a training jewel, go ahead and use it if you
want. But if it is any other kind of element, do NOT use them. They are much better at endgame.
Speak with Wubaiku to turn in "Positive Reinforcement." Then speak with Paodo to the south to pick up
"Aiding and Abeautifying." Press "j" to pick up your quest log, and select "Soup Her Man." Click the
"Track Quest" button.

Make your way south and speak with Janghun to turn in "Soup Her Man."
Then head into the healing house. Speak with Gwak Jun to update your story quest.

Speak to the man on the bed to update your quest, and then return to Gwak Jun.
Head outside and make your way south. Kill 8 Young Sand Conches and loot their drops.

Also gather 3 pearls. From this point on, gather means "press f."
Return to the Healing House to update your quest at Gwak Jun. Then return to town. Turn in "Aiding and
Abeautifying" to Paodo, and then go into Dochun's House to update "The Recovery." Run north and
speak with Chulwan to pick up "I Feel a Draft."

Head through the swirly gate and make your way north to the Bamboo Lookout.

Turn in "The Recovery" to reach level 5.

Level 5
You will receive a letter for "The Way of the (Class Name): Part 1". Read it (press and hold alt to get the
cursor if you forgot how). Then update "I feel a draft" and pick up "Love is a Battlefield" and "Rest and
Recovery" in camp. Then make your way south. Kill a seeker to loot a note.

Then kill and loot 5 Sentinels to obtain their neutralizers.

The well looks exactly like that - a well. Head to the bottom and head through the swirly gate.

Speak with Daygu to update the story quest.

In here, there are lantern imps. If you want, you can kill them and throw them at mobs for massive
damage. Otherwise, you can just kill the mobs. Head north.

Once you're north, kill Limsu and loot him.

Then return to the middle and head east through a swirly gate.

In here, there'll be tutorial with a Masked Hongmoon (Spoilers: It's Hajoon). This varies by class. Simply
follow the onscreen prompts and then turn it in.
Use the black portal behind Hajoon to teleport to the entrance by pressing "f." Then head east and kill 5
Bulbari Foragers, looting their herbs.

There'll be a little tent nearby. Gather a bag, and run back to camp.
Ypdate and turn in "Rest and a Recovery" and "Love is a Battlefield." Pick up "In Good Repair."

Head to the campfire. Press "7" or "f" to repair your weapon. If it cannot be repaired, equip your
training weapon to complete this quest. Turn in the quest to reach level 6.
Level 6
Head into the house to update "The Honorable Mayor" at Dodan turn it in to Namsoyoo. Outside the
house, pick up "Blind Man's Bluff" and "Suspicions."

Make your way east and gather a tree. This will summon a bulbari you can either kill or ignore.

Continue to the Pyres to update your story quest twice and turn in "Blind Man's Bluff" and "Suspicions."
Pick up "Clearing the Way," "There will be bloody jiangshi," and "Dr. Jiangshi and Mr. Hyde."
Head north to kill a Bloody Jiangshi and loot it. Press "f" again to pick it up.

A little to the north is a pyre. Head up to it and press "f" to burn the body. Repeat this process 3 times.
Once you have 3 burned, kill and loot 5 more so that you are at 8 total looted. Then kill 8 Forest Wolves
(they're more to the north).

Make your way south to get to the Stalker Jiangshi. This is a world boss. You kill him and get an
individual loot of essences based off of how much damage you dealt. Thanks to bots, this is always done
on channel 1. Kill him a couple of times to get essences.

Return to camp to turn in your quests and update "Endless Dusk". Turn in "Endless Dusk" to reach level
7.
Level 7
Pick up "Revenants and Reverence" and "Not all that Shimmers is Gold." Update it, and then head to the
wheel more to the south of the encampment. This "Wheel of Fate" will use your essences and give you
rewards. Here, it will give you a nice starting soul shield and a weapon box.

You open up weapon boxes by right clicking on them and using hongmoon keys. Don't use normal keys -
the keys are worth more than the weapon.

These weapons you can use you reinforce your weapon. But the most important one is the one that
matches your class. For instance, a Blade Master would want a sword. For once the weapon hits stage 5,
the only thing that can evolve it to stage 6 is a specific weapon. This is the Stalker weapon.
My suggestion is to do this until you have opened 7 stalker boxes (you can obtain more essences by
continuing to kill the Stalker Jiangshi) and obtained the full soul shield. If you haven't gotten a weapon
to match your class, use Wu Hyuk to access the marketplace and sell your other weapons. Use the
profits to buy your weapon. Note that if you aren't a premium member, you cannot do this until level
15.

Once you have your weapon, click on the survey in the bottom right. The second survey will reward you
with unsealing charms you need.
Right click on your weapon to unseal it.

And then break it through. You may see the "Ingredients" to add. These are items we will need to get in
addition to what we have. This guide will make sure you have all necessary ingredients when the time
comes. Evolve and make your weapon stage 10 for massive damage increase. If you are not premium,
just get it to level 5, hold onto your weapons, and wait until level 15 to use the marketplace.
Head north and kill Graveyard Revenants. They will either spawn plague mites when they die (run away -
mites poison you), or a special mob. Kill them until the special mob spawns, and then kill/loot it.

Head north to Scouting Party to turn in your quest, update you story quest, and pick up "Pilfered
Goods."
Head west and kill 10 Raiders. Try to avoid killing them outside of the enclosed area shown below.

Kill the one outside of a tent and head in to recover the Pilfered Goods.
Head north to the Bandit Hideout's swirly gate.

In the first room, kill Donbu and loot his hey.

Kill your way to the second room. In there, gather 5 treasure boxes.

Continue to the third room to kill Su Hwan.

At this point, read the letter part the tutorial quest part 2. Head behind the rocks to get to the portal.

Once inside, talk to Hajoon and follow the on screen prompts. Turn in the quest to him to reach level 8.
Level 8
Use the black portal to teleport out, and then run east to Scouting Party. Turn in your quests here and
pick up "Say No to the Dress," "The Bear Necessity," and "Bamboo Guard Needs Food Badly."

Make your way east and kill 3 Bears.

Look for Dusk Adder Recruits by the cliffs. Kill 3 of them, and gather 3 of the provisions nearby them (the
bags with the green on top).

Then kill Sentries around until they drop their Orders. You may have to kill a few to get it.
Then head north into the Dusk Adder Stronghold. Speak with Gi Bongsa to turn in "Pirates and Thieves."

Head through and kill Captain Magomun. Gather the dress from him.
Continue to the next room and kill the boss. Gather the letter she drops. She is the first assassin type
mob we'll come across, but those will be explained later.

If you haven't read the tutorial letter, read it, and head behind the shield to meet Hajoon. Follow the on
screen instructions and then turn in the quest to reach level 9.
Level 9
Return to the Scouting Party to turn in your quests and pick up "Not All That Shimmers Is Gold: Part II."
Then Yoma to Foshi Pyres. Turn in "Caught Off Guard" and update the gold quest. Pick up "The Source of
the Bloody Jiangshi."

Head East to the Defined Tomb and head down. Go through the swirly gate.

Gather Wong Minam's Grave and kill the mob that spawns.
Then continue through the end and kill Nekuro. This won't be the last time we kill him. He keeps
reappearing. Once he's dead, Yoma to Foshi Pyres to update your quests.

Head east and use the grave to summon Osung. Speak with her to turn in "Not all that Shimmers is Gold
II" and reach level 10.
Level 10
Head southeast to the black swirly gate.

Continue southeast and kill the 4 thugs around Chengun. Speak with him to update the quest.
Make your way west into a cave. Don't be afraid to kill mobs - they're going to be more annoying later.
Use the table to update the quest.

Then head behind the fence to hide.

Speak with Bumbak to update the quest, and then gather the key from Wungsam.

Head outside and free Ha Jungwang. If you don't know the route he takes, just follow him and kill mobs
attacking him.
After freeing guards, he'll stop at points to gather explosives.

Once you gather all 3 components, continue to follow him and place them in 2 barrels (where he stops).
Then he'll head to the detonating device. Hit it to make everything explode.

Wungsam will appear. Kill him and he'll reset, bringing more mobs. But the bamboo guard also will
come. Kill him a second time, get out of combat, and Yoma back to the Foshi Pyres.
Turn in "South Anchor Away", and then follow the road east to Gloomdross Forest. You'll find 3
Ambushers. Kill them and gather the journal they drop. Right click it in your inventory to pick up "Man
with a Plan."

Then run through the swirly gate to head to Gloomdross. Believe it or not, we are already 40% done
with Viridian Coast.
Level 10-14 - Gloomdross Forest
Level 10
After heading through two swirly gates, speak with an Injured Villager to update the story quest.

Head east and kill 7 villagers. Like the start of bamboo village, these mobs you just have to tag.
Walk towards Dochun to update the quest.

Then head west. Speak with two desperate villagers to update the quest.
Head to Whalesong Cove to update your quest and turn in "Man with a Plan." Once done, head through
the green swirly gate (it's in a building) to enter in the instance.

In the instance, make your way through to the west side, killing the mobs you see. You'll have a bit of
roleplay with Jinsoyun, and then she'll summon a Hulking Augerite. Kill it to update the quest.
Speak with Dochun to get the update the quest. Then we need to escort him. You'll have a
flamethrower. This does massive damage, but takes a second to fire. Use it to blow a path through the
mobs. Stay close to Dochun though, as he won't walk unless you're near.

Once you're through, head to Whalesong Cove and turn in "Gone Fishing" to reach level 11.

Level 11
Pick up "Socket to Me". You'll receive a Practice Citrine. Right click on it to socket it into your weapon.
Speak with Hwang Jinbang to update the quest, and then open your inventory. Right click the citrine in
your weapon to unsocket it. Then turn in the quest. Pick up "Giant Enemy Crabs" and "Miner Rescue."
Then head to the beach and grab a spear gun.

The gun will oneshot Corrupted Beach Crabs and has 48 shots by just left clicking. Kill 48 of them AND
DO NOT KILL A GIANT CRAB. If you kill it, the gun will bug and you need to kill the regular mobs with
weapons which are a pain. Once they're dead, go ahead and kill the giant and the 2 extras you need.
Turn in your quest and then head north through the swirly gate.

Guide Note: At this point, levelling theories divide. Some people prefer to run straight to the Dreamdrift
and grind there until level 15. I advise against this. The dreamdrift mobs are relatively hard, leading to
high death probabilities, it requires a soup that would be best to wait until level 26, and it induces a
loading screen every time you run it. From my tests, it takes the same amount of time to quest as it does
to grind here, so we will quest because questing is more entertaining and yields better rewards.

Head north to the Gloomdross Lookout to turn in your quest and pick up "Major Rescue" and "Dressed
to Kill."
Head south and speak with Chung Unnam to turn in "Dressed to Kill" and receive a Bamboo Guard
uniform. This uniform is useless - it only means any player dressed as a pirate can kill you.

Head into the Depleted Goldmine's swirly gate.

Make your way through the mine. In it, you need to rescue 8 captives (press "f"), and kill 3 Overseers.

Once you're through, head through the swirly gate behind the waterfall to get to Hajoon. As normal,
follow the on screen instructions. Turn in your quest to him to reach level 12.
Level 12
Return to camp to turn in your quests and pick up "The Spore War" and "Miner Revenge."

Head south. Around this area, we want to gather 4 mushrooms.

Kill 7 Deathcaps. These guys will shoot poison in front of them after aggro, so watch your health.
Kill 12 Dusk Adders.

If this is your first character, we're also going to want to gather quartz. Quartz appears all over the map
and requires pickaxes to mine. We got 5 pickaxes from an earlier story quest, so start looking around.
The node to the north is a good on that gives 2-3 each harvest. You might want to consider switching
channels to look for more quartz. We want 6 total.
Return to camp to turn in "The Spore War" and update "Miner Revenge." Then head up to Tanjay Kilns.
Here, turn in "Miner Revenge" and head into the house to update "Deep in the Gloomdross."

Head back to the Kiln and pick up "Burning the Dream," and "Root of all evil." Then head west into the
Dreamdrift.

Speak with Shin Da to update "Burning the Dream."

You'll get a torch. I suggest just putting it down (4), and killing the mobs with weapons instead. Gather a
corrupted corpse to update your quest. It'll spawn a fiend to kill.

Make your way north, killing 15 Gnarloxes and Gnarlhorns on the way.
At the north, kill the 2 Dawnwood Lookouts around the tree.

This will summon the enraged sprite. Kill it, and then head east through Hajoon's swirly gate (make sure
you read the letter~)

Follow the onscreen prompts to hit level 13.

Level 13
Return to the kiln (Yomaing might save a few seconds) to turn in your quests and update the story quest.
Head into the house to update your quest again.

Then return outside of the house to see all new quests! Pick up "Does the make me crazy," "Not a spider
fan," and "Signed, Sealed, and Delivered." From here, we're going to go clockwise, so head west.

While we're at the south, our goal is everything but the deranged mobs. You can kill them if they're in
the way, but don't grind them. Kill 8 sprites.
Near a lake in the middle, gather 3 flamegrass.

Spider eggs are also in the south, so gather 4 of them. They are always guarded by a spider - but spiders
don't mean an egg is behind them. Try and find one and just repeatedly gather it.
Head north and kill 15 Deranged fighters, heading towards the far north of the zone.

Once there, kill Galusu.

Make your way east to a bunch of pyres. Use it to summon a mob.

Kill 3 of these mobs to finish the quest.

Return to the kilns to turn in your quests and get a Hongmoon Necklace. Like your weapon, this will be
your necklace for the rest of the game. Make sure to equip it! You will hit level 14 doing this.

Level 14
Pick up "All that Glitters" and read Hajoon's letter. Then head east to the Goldleaf Foundry and head
inside.

This instance is simple. Head to the last boss and kill her, looting her treasure.
Head to the north to Hajoon's room, and follow his instructions. Turn in your quest to him, and then
follow him out. He'll be attacked, so kill the mobs attacking him.

Continue to follow him, and kill more mobs attackign him. Talk to him again.
Then follow him to the end to watch his death scene. Interesting note - if you skip the cutscene, he just
bursts into flames. (RIP Hajooooooooon)

Head back to the kilns to update the quest, and then turn it in. You'll reach level 15 doing this. Pick up
"Gold fingers" and "Old Man Who". Then head east through the swirly gate to the next zone. We are
now 80% done with Viridian Coast.
Levels 15-18 - Pondskip Vale
Level 15
After passing through the second swirly gate, speak with Blindman Sim to pick up "Three Blind Men."
Then make your was to the village, killing 7 rams. One will drop a journal to loot.

Head into town to turn in "Gold Fingers" and "Three Blind Men." Pick up "Opportunity of a Lifetime."
Speak with the Elderly Hermit to pick up and turn in "Water Walking." Then speak with Ha Jinwa to pick
up "Desperate Measures."
Head into the tavern to update "A Bridge Too Far Gone."

Head up the hill to Rohay to turn in "Old Man Who."

Then continue north to the Earthseer. Use the urn to pay respects to Jahoon, and then turn it in to Bak
Gaha. Pick up "The Infestation."

Read the letter and then head outside. Gather the pile of rocks to receive a diary. Read the diary in your
inventory to auto-turn in the quest.
Follow the road east and speak with Mugyul to pick up "Lost Pet."

Then continue west to Old Man Cho. Speak with him to update the quest.
Head north and gather some logs.

Then place them on the larger pile.

Head south to grab some water.

And put it into the big pot.

Speak with Old Man Cho again to turn in the quest. Then make your way west to a building with a swirly
gate.

Speak with Hong Yunlang inside to turn in "Opportunity of a Lifetime" and pick up "Opportunity Knocks."
In your inventory, equip the Blackram Uniform. This will make you hostile to all Bamboo Guard NPCs
(and players). Hit Ki Lao a couple of times, and then switch back to your normal outfit. Speak with Hong
to turn in the quest.

Once this is done, press "F8" to enter the dungeon lobby. Select "Enter lobby." Scroll down to the
bottom of the list and select "Lakeside Cache."
You only need 2-3 people to do this instance, so if you're lead, just hit "Enter Instance" when it pops up.
If not, you just should encourage the leader to enter. When you're there, you'll get to a gateway. Head
into the black swirly gate to go into the instance.

Inside, kill and look 8 Inferno Ploggies and 8 Ploggie Shamans as you make your way west.
At the west, smack Bomani into submission, and then talk to him.

Then head south to Pokey. Pokey is very slow and shows all his moves with yellow markers before he
does it. Should be an easy way to practice your class.

If he drops a "Viridian Poison," you want it. Don't bid crazy amounts on it, but don't let it just sell for
nothing. Before you leave, read the letter for the green quest ONLY. If you read it for the daily it is
wasted money.
Leave the party (door sign at the top of the party member list) to return to the gateway. Turn in the
daily there, and then press "Shift+V" to return to the lobby. Select "Plague Hollow."

Head to the gateway and head inside. You'll find Old Remains in here. These give flamethrowers.
Use the flamethrower to kill the 50 mites you need.

The last mites will form a giant mite. He's easy, just don't be near him when he bunches up as he is
about to unleash poison. He sometimes will spawn easy adds to kill.

Make sure to turn in the green quest - it gives a very important necklace. Do not use this necklace as
fodder. Leave party and turn in "The Infestation" in the gateway to reach level 16.
Level 16
Press "Shift+V" to return to the lobby, and then press the bottom at the far bottom left of the screen to
exit the lobby and return to the real world. Head back to town and turn in "Drinking Problems" and
"Desperate Measures" and pick up "Going to the Market." Head up the hill to the vault man. Speak with
him and select "Marketplace." If you are not premium, this is a good time to get your Stalker weapon.

The exit out and press "F5" to pull up the marketplace again.
You should have gotten a quest "Gathering and Crafting Guilds." This quest, along with what we are
about to do, will make the rest of the zone a piece of cake. Pick up that quest and speak with Rohay
Gwang.

The quest involves talking to seven different NPCs. Head to the Prospector's guild to update the quest.
Speak with rep to join the guild, and then pick up "Gathering ___ Samples" from the apprentice.
(Depends of the guild).
The next guild is the tree fellers below the hill. Repeat the update/join/pick up process.

Head north to the tree and gather it. Return to town to turn it in. Wait, is that you XP bar that just shot
up? These quests give an insane amount of XP, and because of that, we can do these for all 7 guilds and
not have to do any side missions in the rest of Viridian Coast. That's what I meant by 80% done.
Report back to Chai So. Then press "l" to bring up the crafting guilds. Select the tree fellers guild, and
click the button in the upper right corner to leave guild.

This is because we can only be in 2 guilds at a time. Speak with Sutak on top of the hill, and repeat the
process with the stonecutters of update/join/pick up.
Head north to gather sandstone.

Then head to Old Man Cho's Cottage to gather Copper.

Return to the Stonecutters and Prospectors to turn in their quests and leave their guilds. Speak with the
fishing network to repeat the process.

Then speak with the Herbside service to repeat the process. The rep is a bit further away from the
apprentice.
The conch is just east under the bridge.

Return to Cho's cottage to gather Raspberries.

Return to town to turn in your quests and leave the guilds and hit level 17.
Level 17
Green Thumbs is next.

The trappers are extremely close and come after.

Head to the Lakeside Cache entrance to gather Sandstone Soil.

Then head north to a trio of trees on a hill. Gather the dead chicken.
Return to town to turn in your quests. Leave the Trappers Alliance only and join the Tree Fellers again.
We are now going to join the two crafting guilds most relevant to levellings. Speak with the Soul Shield
Artisan (by the jeweler) to join the Soul Wardens.

Then head east to the potter to join the Merry Potters.

Return to Rohay Gwang to turn in "Gathering and Crafting Guilds." Make your way east to Old Man Jum
to update your story quest. Then head north through a swirly gate to get out of here.

So, why did we join those guilds? Evolution stones. We need evolution stones every 10 levels of our
weapon and/or accessories. This guide will show important gathers for those crafts. More on this later.

For now, press "l" and go to the green thumbs. Request lake mud. Then go to the tree fellers and
request logs. There is no actual gathering you need to do. You just need to wait.
Head north and kill 3 Wild Bears for the gall bladders.

The continue north and speak with Old Man Cho to turn in "Grin and Bear it." He'll give you an earring to
equip.
Head east and enter into the white swirly gate into the Cave of Mastery (behind the waterfall).

Inside, speak with Hansu and then follow him

He'll clear the fire gate (don't try to run through it - it oneshots). He'll then walk and the music will get
slow. Speak with him again.

Head on down and then follow the ramp up to get to a cutscene.

You'll spawn in Dragonscale. Speak with Old Man Cho to update the quest.

Then head to the green spire on the rock. This is a dragon pulse, and triggering this one at this exact
point in the story will cause "Fly into the Sky" to play, probably the best song in the game.
Repeat this three times with three different dragon pulses, and then Speak with Bunah to turn the quest
in.

Head inside the cave behind them. See that Call of the Warring Factions quest? It's time to pick it up.
Speak with either Hansu or Sansu to update the quest. It will not complete until you join one. If the one
you want to join is full, keep trying. Bots in both factions are banned rapidly, and if 1 person joins the
other, then you can join the one you want.
Speak with Old Man Cho, and then the master related to your class. Then head left and fight Hansu.

Speak with him and let him open the gate. Then continue to kill 8 training dummies.
Continue and attack Sansu.

He'll open the next gate, and you can kill 8 wandering dummies.
Return to the entrance and speak with Old Man Cho and then your class specific master to update the
quest. Speak with Cho again to turn in the quest and receive a ring to equip - the last new accessory
until 45.

Press "k" to open the skill book, and select a recommended training.
Speak with Cho again to update your quest. Head out of the cave and then windwalk/jump over the
edge.

Glide down to Wanderer's Hut. Update "Shroom to Grow" and turn in "A Dashing Experience" (Read the
letter if you haven't). Pick up "Calling the Old Man Out."
Head north to turn in "Calling the Old Man Out."

You should have received a uniform for your legion. Right click it to equip it. You can be attacked by
players of the other faction, but if you are, just change channels.
Speak with the appropriate representative on top of the cliff to turn in your quest from the red letter
(varies by faction) and pick up a new quest (varies by faction).

Head south and gather 4 mushrooms.

At the far south we get to the faction area. We want to gather 3 soulstones, which are the red stones.
Kill mobs that would aggro you near them, and gather them for 10 seconds uninterrupted.

Return to the hut to turn in your main quest and your red quest. Unequip you faction uniform and Yoma
back to Jadestone.

Head into the town hall when you get there to update your quest at Pundihay.
Head outside and kill 15 Revenants. Hope that one of them drops a clue, gathering it. If they don't, it
seems the hunter jiangshi have a higher drop rate.

Return to the town hall and speak with Pundihay to update the quest. Then head out and make your
way north to Plague Hollow. Head through the swirly gate to get to a mini-instance.

Head to the end, killing mobs on the way, and Nekuro (2nd appearance) will jump up. He'll summon a
few waves of mobs, and then you kill him again.
Return to town and speak with Pundihay in the Tavern to turn in your quest.

We have two tasks to accomplish before we leave. First, it has probably been 30 minutes, so press "l"
and choose delivery from the green thumbs and the tree fellers. Request another set of logs and lake
mud, and also required a Lake Mud Refiner from Merry Potters and a Soul Shield Primer (any really
works), from the Soul Wardens.

Second, head to the Coin Exchange merchant below. Buy a full soul shield set from him (you should have
exactly 8 stones). We can't equip it yet, but it will be useful later and saves us a trip back here.

Head south towards Songshu Island and take the dragon pulse over to get to the last zone.
Levels 18-19 - Songshu Island
Level 18
After taking the dragon pulse over, just run right past the first camp on quests. You'll find an abandoned
house on your left, as shown in the picture below. On the east side of the house, between the rock and
the house, gather the millet for 1.5k free XP.

Continue rushing to Songshu Pavilion. Speak with Buyong to update your story quest.
Then jump off the cliff to the east. If you look back west you should find the entrance to Adder's Nest.

Head inside and speak with Chengun.

Then on the opposite side, clear the mobs and free Dodan.

After that, just run through the instance with them. Don't bother with the rifles that drop from mobs -
they're incredibly weel. When you get to the end, kill the 4 trainees and Dura's sister.
Loot Bombak's Bag and then speak with Dodan. After, Yoma back to Songshu Pavilion to turn in
"Abandoned Post." Pick up "Adder Subtraction" in camp from Kang Chungchun, and then press F8 to
enter the dungeon lobby. Select "Adder's Nest" from near the bottom of the list.

This time, the run is pretty much the same. However, instead of one guard, there are three to free who
fight with you.

Then at the end you fight Dura herself. Make sure to click on your green quest for an important ring. Do
not use this ring as fodder.
Leave party and then turn in the daily quest in the gateway. Then shift+v to return to the lobby and exit
the lobby.

Make your way south to the path leading to Stillbrook Monastery.

Update Child's Slay twice in the Monastery and then run westsouthwest to get to Captain Womah. This
mob is commonly camped by bots, so if he is click on the "1" above the mini-map and choose a different
channel.
Loot his bandana and return to the Monastery. Speak with Dondon to turn in your quest. Make your way
south to the temple. In it, speak with Bofun to pick up "Not what it used to be."

Near the entrance, pick up the instructional quest "The Dragon's Blood" from Orpun.
Make your way north and near the waterfall, you should be able to see the swirly gate hidden behind
two rocks.

Head inside and speak with Bunyang, and then use the twin dragons next to him by pressing "f." Repeat
this with Bunah. Then speak with her and she'll give you a really big bomb that'll kill you. But the
dragon's blood will restore your health. Speak with Bunyang to turn in your quest.

This object is available in all purple instances (6-man) at every boss, and blue instances before the last
boss.
Follow the path west to the clay dogs. On the road behind a fence, gather the tree to reach level 19.

Level 19
The quest says we can kill pot dogs or gather 5 mushrooms. Pot dogs are a rare chance drop, so just
gather the mushrooms. Try and avoid the red mushrooms called deathtraps. They will pull you in.
At the northwest corner of the pot dogs, we'll find boss Wu Fu. He's a normal destroyer mob, and
usually has a few people killing him on channel 1. If not, he's easy enough to solo. Open his loot with a
key to get his earring - the last important accessory in this zone. Don't use it as fodder.

Yoma back to the monastery and head to the Temple. Turn in "Not what it used to be." Then update
"The Informer" at Dondon and Song Jinha in the north. Head into the house's swirly gate.
Speak with Dochun inside to turn in "The Informer."

At this point I will assume that 30 minutes have passed. Receive your crafts and order Lake Mud, Yulan
Magnolia SAP (not logs), and another Soul Shield Primer (press "l" to open the crafts window).

Head out of the Monastery and head west to the Lair of the Yutay. Speak with Bansan to pick up "The
Yutay."

Then head north to get to the green swirly gate.

The mobs in here are generally harder, so don't train too many of them at a time. Head to the east room
to hit Bumbak into submission, and then speak with him.

Continue north and use the Dragon Coil for a Dragon's Blood.
Head to the north room to face Vilray. He hits like a truck, so it may take a while to get used to his
mechanics. The important thing is if he makes a red circle under him, press your back movement button
twice to move back quickly.

The necklace he drops is actually used as fodder, so go ahead and enchant your favorite accessory with
it. You could potentially grind here to level up your accessories, but it'd be better just to keep going.

Return to the cliffs to turn in "The Yutay" and then Yoma to Sillbrook Monastery.
Head into the building with the swirly gate to update and turn in "The Family Man." Head outside and
speak with Madosung to pick up "Warrior's Wares." Press "F10" to bring up the store. Exit out of it, and
then turn in the quest to him.

Head out of the Monastery and then south to get to Sentinel Coast. Speak with Somunbu to update your
quest. Then read the letter in your quest log.
Old man cho is a little hard to find - he's south on the camp standing on a rock. Speak with him for a
relatively useless windwalking skill.

Head east and use the pidgeon on the rock right off the road.
Then head further east and kill a group of 2 cadets and 2 trainees.

Return to camp to turn in "Take a Message." Then head south over old man cho's cliff. Speak with Bok
Jinmu to update "Up in Arms."
Then head east and kill Stonebiter Brutes. You need 12 drops from them, and they only drop their items
at about a 66% rate, so you may have to grind a few before you finish.

Return to Bok Jinmu, and then head up the hill. Speak with Somunbu to turn in "Up in Arms".

Follow the road leading south and take the dragon pulse to Blackram Narrows.
On the right, speak with Jeyung to pick up "Getting the Axe."

Follow the path west. This is a bit of a maze, but the solution to it is simple. Always, when given the
choice, head down.
Chengun is at the bottom behind some crates.

Head into the ship's swirly gate, and then head down to the bottom. After a cutscene where we see
Namsoyoo is a prostitute, go ahead and kill Wungsam. Speak with Namsoyoo to update the quest.
Yura will appear. You can either attack her to get oneshot and hear her RP a bit, or just ignore her and
head out of the ship. Speak with Chengun to turn in "The Rescue Party."

Now we're going to Yoma all the way back to Bamboo Village. Head south to get to the Healing House
and speak with Daygu inside.
Make your way outside to speak with Janghun.

Head south, ignoring mobs, and attack 2 cannons along with the mobs near them.
After the cannons are done, kill 10 additional Blackram.

Speak with Janghun again, and then head into town. Make your way into the Inn.
Speak with Yongsook and then head downstairs. Attack the door to open it. You'll find a deserter mob in
here. It does not matter what you do, he will kill the husband. I had him knocked on the ground and the
husband just died. I guess he got breathed on too hard. Pick up the baby.

Interesting easter egg - if you try to Yoma carrying the baby you will start swinging the baby around.
Speak with Yongsook to update the quest.
Speak with Chengun to update the quest again.

Continue into Dochun's House's swirly gate and speak with Dochun. Head back towards the healing
house and head east up some stairs to get to the swirly gate.
After a cutscene, kill Captain Gwon.

You'll be teleported to Dochun's house. Speak with Chengun to turn in "Into the Fire."
Major Instance #1 - Blackram Narrows
Press "F8" to enter the Dungeon Lobby, and select "Blackram Narrows." You want all 6 people for this
instance. With your group, head south. Dochun will appear to fight with you.

Your first mini-boss is in front of the door. Don't stand in a white circle as it can oneshot you.
Jump off the balcony to the bottom and speak with Sumi to update the quest.

Continue south to kill Dai (Nothing crazy he does). When he dies, pirates will rush you.
Grab some dragon blood and pull the first boss. The dogs he has should die immediately as they
summon adds. Adds will spawn regardless, but a lot less when they're dead. Kill him and bid on his
accessories if they're cheap enough. These can be used to advance your current accessories.

Continue through the swirly gate. You'll get to Ise Se. Kill him and he'll teleport out.
Whipi will come in his place. Kill him and keep going. Kill Fa Ri on the path and head up the ramp.

At the top are two mobs. Easy enough to kill and move on.
Then we get to the second boss. She hurts pretty badly at this level, but dragon blood will save you. If
she's doing a five point strike, just don't be near her, or block.

Continue into the building behind her after clearing the mobs that rush. Head down to fight Gubong.
Gubong is hard in a small group, but a piece of cake it a large group. Just make sure to use your evade
skills any time you see a red circle (hit back twice). Red circle skills are not blockable or evadable. He will
occassionally do a chi ravage, which can take 2 dragon bloods worth of health away from someone. If he
starts it, try and do a combo with a party member to CC him.

He'll then become The Devourer. This guy is easy comparatively. He does the same moves but without
the oneshot Chi Ravage. He will charge to the front, in which case, don't be in front of him.
After he dies, you'll spawn above. Use the chest to receive loot. There'll always be 1 weapon in here.

Turn in your green quest to get a box that contains a weapon chest. Open the weapon chest and hope it
matches your class.

Then leave party and speak to Jeyung in the Gateway to get a second weapon chest.

You want a weapon that matches your class to evolve your current weapon. Evolution is the same as
breakthrough - you need the matching weapon, but the additional material is an evolution stone.
Identify the weapon with an unsealing charm (you should have a few by now), and then evolve your
weapon to an "Awakened Blight" weapon. Use any elements of training you have on it, but don't worry
about getting it anywhere past stage 1 otherwise.

You should run this instance numerous times. You should run this instance enough times to get your
weapon, advance all your accessories to level 10 (use the Plague Necklace/Wu Fu Earrings/Dura's Ring
to advance past 5), get the necklace and use it to evolve your current necklace, and reach level 20.

If you are an experienced player with gold supply from another character, or one who wants to spend
real life money on the game, you can buy a Viridian Key from the store (F10) and use it on a box to
guarantee your weapon. You can also buy gold (CTRL+C), and use that to buy accessory/weapon fodder
on the marketplace. This will save time in running Blackram Narrows. However, you should make sure
you are level 20 before continuing.

I ran the instance two times in order to most accurately reflect a non-premium member's XP when they
are finished.

When you're all done in here, exit the lobby, answer all surveys, equip your new soul shield (the one we
bought at Jadestone) and get ready for the next zone.
